'DRAGON TOWER RUINS' (3646)
Once known as a gathering place for dragonkind, the Dragon Towers held an
uneasy peace among both Chromatic Dragons and their kin, including the most
powerful, ancient Dragons.
In more recent times, a massive explosion has toppled the Towers, killing most
of the denizens and scattering the rest to the far corners of Thera. The
powerful Ancient dragons survived and flew off to establish individual lairs,
leaving only ruins and rubble behind. Occasionally the exceptionally bold or
crazed adventurer has been known to explore the ruins and in most cases have
simply been added to the list of the dead. Rarely, tales return of dead
draconians and ghosts, but most of such stories are chalked up to vivid
imaginations or tall tales among those whose sense of preservation outweighed
the desire for adventure.
