Syntax: ascend <direction>
ascend <direction> <victim>
Monks may launch themselves into the air, either to escape a difficult
situation, or to launch a surprise attack on a nearby victim. This
maneuver is somewhat taxing, but if successful there is little the victim
can do to prevent the monk from obtaining the first strike.
Such a leap requires a clear path to the victim, and may also be used to
temporarily circumvent obstacles that would require flight.
