GRAND NOCTURNE (2394)

The most powerful manifestation of a bard's power of suggestion, the grand
nocturne is said to create twisted illusions in the mind of the listener
that they are perceived as flesh-and-bone phantasms that hound the afflicted
until they are overcome.

In order to create such a hallucination, the bard must prey upon the listener's
deepest fears or insecurities. As such, most bards find their inspired
phantasms pale in comparison to those created by a truly dedicated tragedian.
