'GROUND CONTROL' (497)
Part of an assassin's training in Nage Waza (throwing techniques) is that
of the ground control. Upon a successful throw, the assassin has a
chance to cause further damage as they maintain their initial hold. This
can come in the form of the hyperextension of a joint or an extra strike
to the vulnerable foe. Once a joint has been hyperextended, further
ground controls will not be possible to this person until they have
healed. If the ground control executed is a strike, however, further
ground controls are possible upon additional successful throws.
Keep in mind that this is an automatic skill that has a chance to happen
only after a successful throw. Since the ability to execute a ground
control is one that requires many factors, it will not always happen.
