'SWARM OF LEECHES' (1585)
Syntax: commune/cast 'swarm of leeches'
Within the confines of a swamp, a druid or marshdweller ranger may use this
offensive supplication to swarm a living foe with blood-sucking leeches. Once
attached, the leeches crawl under the clothing and armor of a foe, making them
very difficult to get rid of. As the leeches come from the swamp itself, their
bite can cause illness and harm the health of their victim as they carry
infections over from the mire.
This supplication/spell requires a primitive trust between the
druid/marshdweller and the leeches, and is most effective on victims who are
unfamiliar with the wilderness. Such outsiders more easily rouse the simple
ire of the swamp's natural inhabitants.
