BLACKCLAW (1114)
Blackclaw lies right off the Eastern Road to the south. The path there is
between the bridge over the Erinin, and the large crossroads. Blackclaw is
a fairly small town, inhabited only by felar. It's relatively dirty by most
standards, but it can be a very interesting place to visit.
ACADEMY:
Access to the Academy can be found at the temple of Blackclaw. The temple lies
on the western part of the path. There is also a friendly healer at the temple
who can aid the wounded.
SUPPLIES:
All the stores and shops in Blackclaw are located on the main path. The
selection is a bit limited in comparison to the larger cities of Thera, but
you should be able to find things you'll need to survive. Water can be drawn
from a river that runs to the west of the city. There is a path that leads
directly to the river and you can fill whatever container you might have.
POINTS OF INTEREST:
The main point of interest is the Fort that lies in the center of town.
This is where most of the felar receive their training. The life of the
mercenary is a common one for many of the felar here. Many of the more
physical guilds have trainers set up within the fortress. Blacklaw itself
is relatively isolated, so there are not many sights to see around it, but
many of things available there are fitting for felar.
OTHER INFORMATION:
Blackclaw is relatively small, and is not under the jurisdiction of the
Blood Tribunal. Don't expect to be very safe from crime there if you do decide
to visit. Also, don't expect to find guilds of the more mystical or divine
nature as felar are not traditionally versed in either.
