ARKHAM (1128)
On the eastern shores of the Dragon Sea stands Arkham: a dark, gloomy city.
Though Gishka K'ahn's guardsmen patrol the city in an attempt to maintain
order, rumors of sinister deeds occurring under the cover of night are common
there. The main east-west thoroughfare, known simply as Main Street, has many
of the amenities a traveler would seek out. The town's main square (where
Main Street meets Dragon Road) has a fountain for clean water, as well as
being a place where merchants sell seaworthy vessels to cross the waters to the
west. A variety of desserts are available at Candi's confections, just a bit
east of the main square. City Hall, just north and east of the town square,
boasts a healer for the weary, as well as an entrance to the local Academy for
young adventurers. Recent graduates of the Academy are advised to seek the
Forest of Prosimy (directly north along Dragon Road), or perhaps investigate
the outlying villages to the east of the town.
