TALATH 'TIR TALATH' 'TIR-TALATH' (1153)

Within the vast northern plains region south of the Udgaard Mountains,
several farms and agricultural communities are nestled. Rising up in
the midst of the vast, sweeping grasslands, is the Tir-Talath Outpost.
Serving as a common center of commerce, defense, and study, Tir-Talath
is a formidable fortress in a land often plagued by bandits, natural
disasters, and an aggressive neighboring territory.

Visitors are welcome in Tir-Talath, which boasts several amenities in a
region otherwise limited to rather rural conditions. A temple in service
to the wise and neutral gods of the Theran pantheon offers healing services
and sanctums for prayer, and the open barracks of the Tir-Talath militia
welcome any visitors who wish to study the art of war within. The majestic
Tower of Tir-Talath offers a place of magical study for both mages and
amateurs alike, while the sights and smells of the farmer's market are sure
to delight the sense of anyone seeking a unique farm grown gift or treat.

Order in Tir-Talath is kept by the local militia, who defend the northern
plains region and its people under the high command of Baron Telenius, a
reluctant, but well-trusted patron who rarely grants audiences to visitors.
His personal keep, however, is open to visitors, and stands proudly in the
heart of the outpost on top of a secure cistern from which the outpost draws
water into its four wells.
