The many taverns and inns of Thera are more than happy to provide alcoholic
beverages for celebrations, the drowning of sorrows, or the conclusion of
a job well done. 

Excessive drinking can be detrimental to your character's
coordination and speech, however, and extreme amounts can harm you. In 
addition, the skill improvement rate of your character may be slowed while 
drunk. 

The best cure for drunkeness is rest and time. Nonetheless, many claim its 
benefits when spinning a tale, singing a tune or two, or just socializing.
