'ANOINT WEAPON' ANOINTWEAPON (1433)
Syntax: anointweapon <virtue> <weapon> Paladins may anoint weapons with oils to impart blessings upon them. Both the weapon and the user must be untainted by vice for the anointment to have a benefit. Anointed weapons are permanently suitable for use by priests, and carry with them an aspect of the virtue imparted for some time: Charity: This blessing is intended for gifts to those allied with the guild, and provides a minor protective benefit for a very long duration. Unlike the other five virtues, paladins may not benefit from this blessing. Faith: This weapon will shield the wielder's mind, rendering its wielder less susceptible to magical or mental influence. Fortitude: The physical recuperation of this weapon's wielder will be improved. Hope: This weapon will lift the spirits of the wielder, and improve his or her leadership abilities. Retribution: This weapon will be better suited for battling the foes of the paladin guild. Temperance: This weapon will keep the wielder's mind well-prepared for using supplications. Paladins who have proven themselves especially possessed of a given quality will be better able to impart it to a particular weapon. If no weapon is specified, the skill defaults to the paladin's presently wielded weapon. Otherwise, the paladin may anoint any weapon in their inventory, and may anoint multiple weapons if it is desired. See also: PALADIN CODE
