VERAN 'VALLEY OF VERAN' (1600)
Hidden among the mountains near the volcano Kiadana-Rah lies the Valley of
Veran, once the place of a prosperous city, mostly ruled by a council of mages.
Now the city is in ruins, overgrown by the thriving plant life of the valley -
and infested by hideous creatures mutated by mysterious forces, no doubt
related to the practice of magic that took place long ago. Most of the
inhabitants are very hostile and dangerous even to seasoned adventurers, so
caution should be exercised in this jungle-like valley and the ruined city
deeper within.
