Carrion Fields

AZUREMAIN (2650)

Long ago, a small village rested peacefully within the mountains
that surrounded it, undisturbed by all that would threaten its
peace from beyond its stony walls. It could not, however, deal
so readily from unseen threats from within, and one fateful evening
all that it was and hoped to be came to a sudden and total ruin.
It is said that this place has been cursed by the darkest forces of
shadow, and that it remains as a testament to the price of betrayal
and corruption.

Those of ranks twenty-fifth to thirty-fifth may well find that they
have much to learn from coming here, but any who come may find that
this ruin has more to teach than it initially seems to. No common
road leads to it, and it is advised that one seek the waters before
they seek the towering spires of rock that enshroud this stony tomb.
