LYCEUM 'CELESTIAL LYCEUM' (2660)
At the end of a quaint forest trail behind the Inn of the Eternal Star
lies the Celestial Lyceum, its star-topped spire rising up from the trees.
Within its halls, stories, artifacts, and legends are safeguarded under
the patronage of the Heralds of the Eternal Star. Visitors are always
welcome, and the public gallery and auditorium are always open to the
public. The Lyceum's greatest treasure, however, is its library, which
is meticulously attended by a humble order of monks that work to assure
knowledge and peace for those who come to glean wisdom from the volumes
there.
To gain entrance into the Celestial Lyceum, one must be vouched in by a
Herald of the Eternal Star. This permission is granted easily and gladly
by any Herald who receives such a request, so long as it is asked by one
who is capable of exercising restraint while within its halls. Once inside
the library, you are advised study quickly and efficiently, for the
invitation is a temporary one. After some time, lyceum attendants will
escort a library visitor back out to the foyer, and permission from a
Herald must be sought anew if you wish to continue studying.
Scribes, poets, writers, and historians who have authored texts that they
feel might make a valuable contribution to the Lyceum are welcome to do so.
(Such texts should be e-mailed to lyceum@carrionfields.com and are subject
to the judgement of the immortal staff.)
