'SIGHT OF THE DAMNED' ACCURSED (2691)
Syntax: cast 'sight of the damned'
There are those Therans who have the misfortune of being born on a day of
ill omen who are known as the Accursed. The magi of the Scions of Eternal
Night have learned to peer through their eyes, to see those who are nearby
to the Accursed, even when the mage is quite far away. It has been said that
numbering among the Accursed is a mixed blessing, for these magi cannot
directly identify the one whose eyes they borrow. Once a glimpse of the
desired person has been seen, it will be some time before the Scion may scry
him or her again, though they may seek other victims with this power.
