'EVERMOON HOLLOW' (2754)
Evermoon Hollow is entirely enclosed and is inhabited by the wood
elves. It lies in the northeast of Ar'atouldain, which can be found to the
east of Tir-Talath. It can be a rather confusing place as the entire city
lies inside a network of winding passageways.
While most wood-elves roam the wild places, Evermoon Hollow serves as a
sanctuary where wood-elves who are too young, old, or ill can find a place
of respite and healing before returning to the wild. It is said that only
the ruling family of the Evermoons remains there for their entire lives,
and rumors whisper that some wood-elves have grown critical of their
"royalty" as a result. In his time of rule, King Galeth Evermoon has shown
unusual diplomacy for the outside races, extending so far as to permit the
elves of Darsylon to have ambassadors of study in fields forbidden to the
wood-elves themselves, a subject of much controversy.
Still, in spite of this liking for diplomatic relations and the comforts
of civilization, the King of the Wood-Elves still keeps his distance by
decreeing that the Blood Tribunal shall have no authority within the
confines of Evermoon Hollow. He is similarly creditted by even the most
wild of wood-elves for breaking the race's dependency on the fouled metal
of adamantite, upon which they once heavily relied.
