Carrion Fields

'LOWER CRAGSTONE' (2768)

Deep beneath the earth, reached through twisting and turning passageways
of the underdark that are known only to a few, lies Lower Cragstone, home
of the svirfnebli folk.  Wary of strangers and enemies alike, the svirf
guard their gates carefully, yet those who manage to sneak into the city
are usually met with cautious welcome and weak smiles.  Ruled by their
king and council, the svirf mine rich ores from the byways of the
Underdark, ever wary against assault by dark-elves, duergar, or the other
foul creatures that lurk in the depths.
