XVARTS 'THE XVART LAIR' (2826)

Evil cousins to the kobolds, these strange creatures have taken up
residence in a warren of caves and caverns somewhere around Seantryn
Modan.  None are really sure where the entrances lie, but the xvart
have been known to pop up and conduct lightning quick raids in several
places, including the jade mountains and the Aryth Ocean.  They make
off with gold, jewelry, armor and even people!  Hardier than kobolds,
the xvart are very protective of their lair, and will attack intruders
on sight.
