'KUO-TOA LAIR' (2830)

Deep beneath the Aryth Ocean lie the twisting tunnels and underwater
caverns of the evil kuo-toa.  Famed throughout Thera for their hatred
of all surface dwellers, they are quick to attack any they find
entering their underwater lair.  As recently as a few years ago, a
group of holy warriors and magi of the Light descended through the
Underdark to find and face the kuo-toa, and hopefully recover a long-
lost holy artifact that was stolen from the surface world centuries
ago.  The Six, as they were simply called, left with much fanfare
and high hopes, but they were never heard from again. It is probable
that they are now mining kelp in the kuo-toas' underwater gardens,
if they are even still counted among the living.
