'WATERS OF THE DEEP' (2831)

Half-drowned sailors who wash up on the shores of the Aryth Ocean
oftentimes report the existance of a vast whirlpool that sucked their
ship and shipmates to a watery death beneath the waves. How they were
able to survive none can say, but all speak of a harrowing journey
through one of the many homes of the underwater race known as sahuagin.
They speak of time spent in slave pens in underwater chambers, of
aquatic elf prisoners the sahuagin have captured to work their kelp
forests, or fights to the death for the amusement of their people in
the mighty arena. The few of these souls brave and hardy enough to
swim to freedom report sharks swimming freely among the sahuagin
common homes, ixitxachitl, piranha, barracuda, giant catfish and
other denizens of the ocean, as well as the unmeasurable hatred of
the sahuagin for those who dwell upon the land.
