'THE GROVE' (2844)
Nestled in an ages-old forest north of the Eastern Road lies this
ancient and hallowed grove. Filled with all manner of forest creatures
living in perfect peace and harmony, druids walk the moist rich earth
with their treants, tending to the saplings and bushes that form the
new growth of the forest. Eight of Thera's oldest trees grow here,
claimed by some to be the forefathers of all the trees in the realms.
Ancient altars to the four elements can be found here as well, still
in use by those who pray and make sacrifice to the old Gods. Many come
to the grove, some for peace and quiet contemplation, others for the
ancient knowledge held within, still others for the plentiful bounty
to be had amidst the growth. Whatever your reason for coming to the
grove, the secrets of the ancient trees are yours to discover, if you
have the patience.
