'THE PASS' 'UDGAARD MOUNTAINS' (2856)
Between Udgaard to the north, and the rest of Thera to the south,
lies a tall range of mountains. Guarded by sentries from Udgaard,
travelers make their way between towering peaks through the pass,
following either the North Road or beaten paths that wind and wend
their way around large boulders and ancient gnarled tree roots.
Troglodytes, orcs, ettins and worms have been sighted in the vicinity,
as well as bandits, all waiting to waylay innocent adventurers. When
off the North Road, the terrain is quite difficult, forcing frequent
stops to catch one's breath and rest one's legs.
