'THE PLAINS OF ARENDYL' (2863)

The precursor to the Open Plains surrounding Tir-Talath, the Plains of
Arendyl still exist through the Void to Thera's past. At a time when
humans were just beginning to form their civilization, Elves roamed the
open grasslands, feasting, hunting and wandering, guarding their home
and the approaches to dwarven Delar-Tol. Extending from the Redhorn 
mountains and onto the border of the open plains, a great yew forest 
was said to have contained ancient and powerful living trees. To witness
this place in Thera's past is to see events that have shaped its present.
