'THE SEA OF DESPAIR' (2867)
The inland Sea of Despair lies to the west of Galadon, just north of the
Ashes of NoWhere. Home to various types of rare and unusual trees, biting
swarms of mosquitos, random bursts of lightning, pirates and hungry fish,
it is aptly named. The deepest depths have been plumbed by few, though
fishermen constantly tell tales about the 'biggest grouper in all of
Thera' that supposedly dwells in the murky darkness near the seabed. The
tales always seem to end the same, with the grouper getting away.
