'THE FEANWYYN WEALD' (2878)
A forest of pine, elm, oak and maple grows close against the western walls
of Galadon, filled with all manner of woodland creatures. Lumberjacks work
areas of the forest, felling select trees and floating them up the river to
Galadon's lumberyards. Bands of self-proclaimed forest protectors roam the
paths and byways, seeking to put a stop to what they see as the wanton
destruction of nature. Young adventurers should think twice about treading
into the deep woods, or too far into the valley that splits the wood, as
not all of nature's creatures are benign bunnies and squirrels. Rumor has
it that a fierce creature roams the skies above the Feanwyyn, in search of
prey, so all who travel the ancient road are advised to be wary.
