'GLAURUK SPAWNING GROUND' (2913)
Just a hop down a muddy slope adjacent to the Feanwyyn Weald lies an
old marsh that has long saturated the earth, filling a niche in the
local ecosystem.
Recently, it has been rumored that a peculiar brood of amphibious
humanoids has claimed these bogwaters as its newest spawning ground.
The glauruks are a feral people, that show no quarter to the offspring
of civilization, perceiving such individuals as dangerous competition
for the local resources. Worse still, the lightweight and waterproof
skins of the glauruks are coveted by poachers who hunt these savage
creatures without remorse. The glauruks, though still sentient, have
thus further evolved as fierce creatures of the wild, and those who
lack harmony with the environment would be wise to travel there with
care.
