The powers of the Scions of the Eternal Night are rumored to be influenced
by the otherworldly alignments. As the constellations track the heavens,
and planes drift closer or further from each other, their powers wax and
wane in mysterious ways. To harness this, they have developed the art of
Divination to estimate the strength of their ties. Different guilds apply
their training in different ways, the details of which are not well
understood outside of the cabal's secretive membership.
