ENPOLAD ENPOLADS GAME GARDEN (3281)

Growing bored of never seeing a good game, Enpolad, the Chessmaster, set his 
svirfneblin crew about to remodel his famed tower using powerful magic.  Walls 
were torn down and plants tended as a more suitable setting was created.

Natives of the island nearby reported hearing explosions along with the 
unmistakeable sound of digging.  

Using his extensive knowledge of the game of chess, he created a carefully 
tended and maintained garden in which participants could come and truly test 
each other.  After an intensive search in which he tested many applicants, the 
perfect two candidates were invited for the inaugural game.  Polar opposites 
in their views of the world, each chose their army from Thera's legions to 
take to the game garden in the ultimate battle of good versus evil.  As the 
game started, Enpolad realized a plot against him.  Enraged, he ordered the 
capture of the participants, had them imprisoned, and took control of their 
'pieces' for his own study and entertainment.  Visitors that have survived a 
trip to the game garden report mystifying uses of magic, horrifying 
manifestations of evil, and supreme beauty.  It is a place of mystery, horror, 
and intrigue.
