'THE ELEMENTS' ELEMENTS EARTH AIR FIRE WATER SPIRIT PARA-ELEMENTS (792)

Earth One of the primary elements that make up the World, the Earth
holds sway over the ageless mountains and the forbidden
subterranean depths. The elemental plane of Earth is bounded
by Fire and Water, the para-elemental planes between them
                being Magma and Ooze.

Air One of the primary elements that make up the World, the Air
holds sway over the vast skies and the sweeping winds. The
elemental plane of Air is bounded by Water and Fire, the para-
elemental planes between them being Ice and Smoke.

Fire One of the primary elements that make up the World, Fire holds
sway over life-sustaining heat and the consumption of the
raging inferno. The elemental plane of Fire is bounded by Air
and Earth, the para-elemental planes between them being Smoke
                and Magma.

Water One of the primary elements that make up the World, Water holds
sway over the refreshing springs and the hoary seas. The
elemental plane of Water is bounded by Earth and Air, the
para-elemental planes between them being Ooze and Ice.

Spirit The most mysterious of the primary elements is the Sphere of
Spirit. The eternal spark of being floats among the other
elements bringing animation to their lifeless forms. The
Sphere of Spirit is revered by mystics and spiritualists alike.

Para-elements The para-elemental planes serve as buffers between the primary
elemental planes, and though they are lesser Spheres they are
often useful to the alchemist and geomancer. Beneath the para-
elements (Smoke, Ice, Ooze, Magma) reside the quasi-elements
(Lightning, Radiance, Steam, Minerals, Dust, Salt, Ash, and
                Vacuum).
