'NYATHL IKALITH' 'SILENT TOWER' 'AYERTHL ZELAATH' (875)

To some, it represents the final destination of the self-described Biomancer,
Sz'sra, the goal for which he strove and some of the reason he composed his
unusual thesis. It could well represent a place where some of the answers to
questions raised by the saurian wizard's sojourn may be found.

To others, it is a place of wonder, built by and filled with forgotten magics.
To tread those sterile halls would be to gaze into the past and see both
potential and power.

To others, it is a cesspool, a location where ancient archmages of unspeakable
power have chosen to congregate for reasons unguessed by most. Only with their
deaths will Thera ever be safe from the shadow of their cruel whims reaching
out from their sometime prison to twist and destroy without warning.

To others still, it is a treasure hunter's dream or drunken story, a place
filled with wealth and items of power and wonder ripe for the taking -- should
one have the will to plunder and the cunning to find the way between.

All these things and more it is, what some have called the Silent Tower and
others Nyathl Ikalith. The well-travelled may have once seen words, hammered
into rock to advise for all time: "Assume nothing. Expect everything." They
would be wise to heed these words. For, should one chase a place of legend and
actually find it, one might find that much of what they had taken for granted
about the nature of reality was not necessarily so.

The ways to the Tower are many, and you may notice that chance is it finds you
instead of you finding it. Good luck. You have no idea yet how badly you
will need it.
