Syntax: cast 'despoil' <object>
Magi and anti-paladins of the Scions of Eternal Night have learned to siphon
the energies of powerful magical artifacts to grant them the inhuman endurance
of the Nightwalkers with whom they have allied themselves. Drawing upon both
their body and magical reserves, they create a potent defensive ward. It is
rumored that some portion of the energy drained is sent across the planar
boundaries, for purposes unknown to most.
Despoil is most effective when used upon rare items as detected by the
legendary awareness skill, as well as artifacts that are wrought with the taint
of evil or particularly useful to Magi.
