Description
Before you stands a plump bodied, majestically silver fledged
feather female bird. Her facial features are very striking. Her
light blue eyes create a piercing gaze. Her slightly parted silver
colored beak creates an illusion of seriousness but her smiling
beak gives her seriousness away. Even at this old age, her
cheeks are slightly indented as if she has been starving herself
to keep her girly figure alive but she seems to be fighting a
loosing battle against great food and old age. The rest of her
body is little plump from spending so much time in the Inn
drinking the finest whiskey from the special stash of Lord
Whiysdan and eating the best cooking from the finest
secret tables of Captain Neltouda. Two large fully-fledged
wings, lightly sagging are tucked behind her as she will fly
any moment. In certain angles she looks like an angel ready
to take to the skies. Her taut long legs hold very firmly on
the ground.
The visible surface of her body and her arms is filled with
small tattoos of purple lotus. She seems to regale in turning
her body into an art for the Purple Lotus. Her enthusiasm
and excitement is visible in her adventurous glittering eyes.
Role
War, what is it good for?
Added Wed Apr 10 18:55:02 2013 at level 3:
Absolutely nothing!
Wars are fought for 3 main reasons or combinations of
these reasons, Wealth, Pride and Control. But when the
war becomes more than just these, it turns to something
very perverse. Hatred takes hold and war wages on
engage in these horrific monstrosities without much thoughts.
To become victorious, one must sacrifice men and money
far more than the opponent. But why should these battles
continue when most wars can be resolved by words.
War does not determine who is right - only who is left.
Diamond in the Rough?
Added Sat Apr 13 10:27:00 2013 at level 10:
Absolutely!!!!!! NOT
All who have the tendencies to be perfectionists are diamonds.
They are rough because they have not refined their perfectionistic
views. They sacrifice all emotions and relationships for the
betterment of their own selves. They are very self-centered and
care only for their own wellbeing
Aeede has never considered herself to be a perfectionist. It takes
a lot of time and whole lot more skills to become a diamond.
These folks have the drive in them to put them through rigorous
training. Bah, too much for little payoff. Time wasted in training
away from relaxing and enjoying.
When these perfectionists are on their death bed, what do they
have to show for themselves? At least the ones like Aeede can say
that they are dying of some complication or another happened to
them from their relaxing times. They have shared laughs and formed
better relationships.
Jovial Aeede dislikes perfectionists. She believes that these
diamonds in-Training need to go through training for the meaning
of life and learn some social acceptance skills. Maybe perfecting
this skill may bring them towards the understanding what life really means.
100 Year War

Absolutely; Be Opportunist
Aeedes life started with impact from the long fought war.
Her great grandparents were involved in a family feud.
The feud was a simple misunderstanding. But generations
consumed themselves in this act of war. To get a better hand,
each side eliminated the elders from the other side.
Each side setup practice rings in their encampments.
In these rings they fought trial scenarios in perfection of
their cleaving arts. When 10 people perfected this scenario,
then they led this exact scenario against the other side.
They tried to afflict major casualty without any sense of
life or the cause of this war.
These Marans, can they stop being bloodthirsty when
they have slayed all of darkness and brought light to the
world? These Tribunals, can they stop looking over cities
and expand more if all chaos was stopped? These Scions,
can they stop once they become supreme leaders once
their demon lords are summoned? These Villagers, can they
stop fight all if all magic is erased? They all have their
identities because of the other sides existence.
Aeede has hatred for war because she realizes that most
things can be solved by words rather than being blinded
by selfish behavior all sides. She stands neutral as she does
not support one side over the other. Each part has the
right to co-exist. Even the group of Neutral Enforcers is
too bloodthirsty for Aeede to join them.
Only group that do not promote violence is the Heralds.
Its perfect as she can make others laugh with her Jests.
Kill for defense.
Kill for advancement
Kill for betterment
But do not start War
Above all become, Aeede the Opportunist

Absolutely; Simple and Stupid
There were two young men, friendship forged by the
school of study. One, the son of the Noble Lord.
Other, the son of a farmer. They were often considered
each other to be brothers. They were partner-in-crime
(innocent pranks on the villager). They grew old together.
In a noble act, after seeing the poverty his brother was
going through, the son of the nobleman gave all the land
from the west of the river to his friend. The farmer son
repaid this debt by making sure his sister is wed with his
friend when got older.
The Noble wife (his best friends sister) died in labor
bearing twins. When the twins were of 6yrs of age, they
received a step-mother. The new mother loved both the
children as if she herself bore them. When the children
were 10yrs old, they both died. Upon investigation, it was
found that the children were poisoned. The blame was on
their mother. She could not bear the thought of killing
her children, and killed herself.
The noble blamed his wifes death on the friends family
and asked for the land back. But the farmer children
declined to hand the land back and launched an assault
killing numerous servants of the noble.
And the War started.
Choices
Added Mon Apr 15 16:37:54 2013 at level 21:
Absolutely; Driving Aeede
She was trained as an assassin because of her parents.
They specialized from being warriors to assassins for
killing with a flick of the wrist. By the time Aeede was
ready to give up, she was too old to join any other guild.
And she loved being able to travel without notice and
in the shadows.
She follows the Lucky Lord of Thirteen for his philosophy
of relaxation as an essential part of life. For the wisdom
stored with him. With intelligence one can gather information.
But with wisdom, one can use this information for ones
betterment.
Courage is installed in all who step away from the norm
and confront it. A performer musters courage to stand
in front of a booing crowd to perform. A mage stands
at the bar and politely asks for drink orders from a
bloodthirsty villager. The bouncer stands with courage
at the bar monitoring all the activities going on.
Without Passion, the life is empty. Passion leads to judge
oneself to understand their goals and the path leading to
those goals. Goal for Aeede is a simple one. Become
the most well-known Jestor of the Inn.
And become, Aeede the Opportunist
Normality

Absoluetly! Is it possible?
Can normal life really exist? Can violence ever leave
the minds even when not prescribe? Can one really
leave behind the past? Can a simple question trigger
episodes of memory floods? How do you dull the mind
but remain with nimble body?
Many more questions exists in Aeede`s mind and often
come forth in her life. She often sits alone even in a
crowded room and ponders on the purpose of her life.
Aeede defines her life with the tasks she takes on.
Aeede often takes on endeavors that at times seem impossible.
Recently, she has started to teach the monks at the
Moudrilar Monastery. Its a great place and monks
always help her improve her strategies. But their yelling
about hell and other treacherous past has started to
take a toll on her. Is she really teaching them how to
defend themselves or just wishes to see blood in battle?
If the latter is true, why does she flee when they are
badly beaten?
Swalni Snaggletoof introduced Aeede to alcoholic drinks.
He passed her few tankards of spiced mixed ale. And
she has been hooked to drinks. She takes a few swigs of
drinks after every meal. And every time someone offers,
she cannot deny the urges.
She also realized that she has become an alcoholic,
very much addicted to the taste of drinks and effects
they have upon her.
Adventure of a Lifetime

Ceremony Event Master. Absolutely!!!
Aeede has been beaming with pride that she was
successfully made a Joke-Mistress on the Inn.
Assigned as a performer. She has to perform using
her voice instead of her hands and weapons.
Many have come to listen to her jokes and many
have paid for her jokes with laughter. Making people
smile brings forth a sense of achievement to her.
Many people have achieved greatness through her.
When Captain Neltouda asked if Shamise has
stolen her thunder about claiming the joke telling
event successful, Aeede realized that the event
was successful because of efforts of the entire
Herald, not just her. So, she answered no to that
question and added that the whole Herald Family
was responsible for the successful event. After
this event, Shamise was honored to be called the
head of the family as High Herald.
She has successfully completed another event
where people got to understand about Lady Rayihn
in great detail. She considered that event a successful
one as well because of the number in attendance
and the inquiries initiated. Aeede is still seeking to
be able to send scroll to all Therans without an
intermediary. She still plans to update the jokes section
of the Lyceum. Even though the Lyceum is often quiet,
she wish to make her section so great that people will
visit the Lyceum for laughter.
She is very thankful to Rydell to include her in
dragonslaying events. Till now she has seen all
the ancient dragons and have skinned them for
their precious hides. She is still on adventure to
uncover most of unique places in Thera and one
write lore of these places. There will also be a
compilation of bars in these unique places.
The question
Added Tue Aug 6 11:03:19 2013 at level 51:
Easy Question, Hard Answer. Absolutely!
For the Joke-Mistress, much have passed in her life. Shamise understood
her role as a High Herald and started to coach other Heralds for the
betterment of their art. As Shamise the Chosen Handmaiden, she does not
hesitate to speak about her Goddess. Shamise has spoken to Aeede few times
about Goddess Rayihn.
After multiple submissions of jokes to Captain Neltouda, Aeede was handed
the responsibility of being a scribe to the Lyceum. Aeede still loves to get
paid with Laughter for the jokes she tells to any who walks in the Inn.
Something has been irking Aeede since her organization of Lady Rayihn
religious information session.
Lady Rayihn asked Aeede 'What do you truly desire of me, Aeede?'
The question was a simple one but the answer was more complex than
the secrets of Gods. To answer this question, Aeede had to look inside
her heart and feel the answer. When the question was asked, Aeede could
not respond with an answer.
Like the life of the lotus, this question acted as a storm and churned her
muddy thoughts. The seeds of this thought were planted by Shamise with
talks describing the Goddess in detail. Gathering information about the
Goddess and thinking 1000 times about approaching such a divine being,
Aeede decided to answer the question asked.
One eve with Shamise with her side, Aeede approached the Goddess and
explained the answer to the question. She explained every minute detail
without leaving any aspect the things that her heart was feeling.
Lifecycle of Lotus

Handmaiden. Absolutely!
After the initial deep conversation, Aeede was set upon the task to learn
about the lotus and understand her feelings. Her learning started with
Shamise, but lead to the other chosen ones. Cardinal Rydell, Emperor
Kraldinor and High Priest Etion also influenced her religious knowledge.
Aeede started to understand how they interpret the religion of Purple Lotus.
Like a seed that sprouts into a small plant after gathering nutrients from
then environment, Aeede started to absorb all religious nutrients from
her environment. She started to sprout into a small lotus plant under the
guidance of the Goddess.
One eve, while deep in discussion with Goddess Rayihn and High Herald
Shamise, Aeede attained the status of Handmaiden of Rayihn. The honor
that is not easy to attain, but come with great responsibilities. Aeede's
was trained to understand all the wishes of Goddess Rayihn before it's
mention, keep the shrine clean and shining at all times, introduce others
to the religion of the Goddess, act as the Priestess (but much closer)
who wishes to learn.
Like Raedan who sought the Goddess's guidance was referred to Aeede.
Answer to the questions of Raedan was easy, but they would not mean
anything if Aeede provided it for him. In conversation, Aeede inspired
for the answers to his questions with little snippets. When Raedan left
the conversation, he informed that all the confusions have passed and has
been replaced by serenity. Aeede thinks she is ready to become the
Chosen Handmaiden of the Goddess and Shamise has ascended to the
Skies to assist the Goddess in Divine worship.
While at the Inn, Corlx has become the Vicar of the Lucky Lord and
Knee High Herald. Saersha volunteered to help Lord Arvam and left
the temple of the Lucky Lord phasing into reality of the land. Saersha
is now the second High Herald assisting Corlx. Aeede has started her
journey to attain the title of Event Coordinator of the Inn after successfully
completing the Wake with Bharhum.
Noic, a felar scribbler of the Inn, has great potential to be one of the best
Heralds but lacks the conviction in his actions. Aeede is assisting him in
organizing events. In Aeede's mind, the events should attract enough
attention of the Gods of the Inn to promote her to be the Event Coordinator.
