Description

A short, slender woman of middle-age is here, her almond shaped eyes staring about her surroundings.A few small lines can be seen under her eyes, the signs of age beginning to slightly show. Long locks of brown hair hang from her head, a few gray strands beginning to grow only here and there. There is a cerain beauty about her, and her lightly tanned skin still seems as soft as the days of her youth. Her face is thin, and her nose casts a slight shadow over the pink lips that make her mouth.A rounded chin completes her face, a slight crease arching the opposite way of which it points. Her build is slight, with slender limbs protruding from her small figure. Long fingers comprise her hands, a single ring adorning each of her ring fingers. She walks with a slight hint of grace, and carries a look of sincere compassion about her.

Role

Goodbyes and a new beginning

Goodbyes and a new beginning
With a few hugs and goodbyes, Aemisha left the land of her "family". The
kind hosts that had taken her in shortly after arriving at the orphanage.
They always said it was her smile that got their attention one day while in
the markets of Balator.Aemisha knew and so did they that is was no longer
safe for her. They stayed only out of their age. Their livelihood was
there, and it was too late in their lives for them to leave. Hopefully the
fields would hold out a few more seasons and they could then afford to find a
cottage in a quiet place. Maybe Prosimy, maybe Aturi...who knew...for now
though it was a bittersweet farewell and a promise to write. Until then,
Galadon would be home. Not that its streets offered much in the way of
protection, but atleast there was some law and it offered her a place to
train, to become more honed in her chosen craft. It was the right place to
begin.

The beginnings of Conjuration

Added Tue Dec 13 04:53:48 2005 at level 20:
So now that she was settled, Aemisha had begun her training in conjuration.
In fact it wasn't too long ago she called forth her first conjuration. An
owl, an owl known simply to her as Rilei, the surname of her adoptive family.
would serve her well she thought, and it allowed her a chance to look
in on those in the fields from time to time. Through Rilei she could keep
watch over those fields. Rilei would watch from the skies for her.

She felt the training was going well, and against even the advice of her
guildmaster, she had secretly (and at great risk to herself) called forth the
form of a fire elemental before learning of the ways to protect herself from
such. It was a warm night in Arkham, and her and her companions had just
finished their way through the crypts below. With the help of a newly met
Paladin, Aemisha summoned forth the mass of living flame. She was awe
stricken by its size and formation. It was like nothing she had ever seen
before, and as the controlled mass of flames stood there, she quickly
realized she was still standing there by some miracle. Quickly regaining her
composure, she uttered a tome of binding and lo and behold the elemental
responded without a fight. Her first outer planar being! It was a day of
sucess and pride in the heart of Aemisha. Even though it was rather weak in
strength, she had done something that a few years ago she would have never
thought possible. Her arts in her craft were strengthening, and as such she
was both excited and pleased.

A path less traveled

Added Tue Dec 13 04:54:09 2005 at level 20:
With her recent success in mind, Aemisha then thought long and hard about the
reasons she was here and why it was she was doing what she did. With those
thoughts, she sat at a desk and penned her letter of inent to a group known
as the maran. Through her craft, she was hoping that someone from their
ranks would offer her a position within its gates. It was there that she
would have the benefit of others set against the Empire. It was also there
she knew she would be even closer to the true champion of victory, the
Skyborn Lord, Shokai. She had always dreamed of the phoenix, even as a
little girl. Though she didn't know then what it stood for, now things were
beginning to come to light. Patience, patience...it will all come together.
She just had to be patient and see to her studies.

The fight so far.

Added Wed Dec 28 11:49:14 2005 at level 48:
To this point the fight I have been apart of has been trying at times, a
struggle, and again at times very rewarding. It is the actions of others
though that worry me. Many of the Fortress I am apart of feel the need to
throw themselves at evil without even a care for self preservation. While
some may call if valient and brave, I myself cannot think of anything more
foolish. For if these champions of the light, entrusted with the lifelong
work of destroying evil in the process get destroyed themselves, then who
will be left to fight? At times sacrafice is most definately needed, but at
the same time so is a plan. I just feel that tendancies tend to be too
chaotic and counterproductive to our cause. If only all could unite their
strikes, much as the Marshall has done on many an occasion, then we could
truly be successful and drive back the forces of evil. For now it seems a
standoff between the two sides, one rallying and then the next.We must
rally stronger. Now if only I can convence the Outlander and BattleRagers
that my fight is not with them.....such a distraction....

Time to go.

Added Tue Dec 13 04:52:19 2005 at level 20:
Seeing it as no longer acceptable to sit idly by while the darkness grew
within the lands, Aemisha knew that the discontent that grew inside her was
with herself. For too long now she had stood at the wayside, keeping her
head down and seeing to her family's lands. When fields were burned in the
distance and the pounding of infantry soldiers feet were heard in the near
distance, all she did was further pull the cloak over her head and engrossed
herself more in her work. Perhaps by working harder, it would all go away.
By minding her business the arms of darkness would never find its ways into
the lands she lived upon. Oh the nonsense she allowed to fester in her head.
after seeing enough of her family's crops and livestock go to the
coffers of the Empire, she became disgusted. While keen enough to keep her
tongue in check, inside she knew this could go on no more. How much longer
would their "offerings" hold out? How much longer would they be able to
afford to buy their safety? What would happen when more was requested? No,
the fields of Balator were no longer safe. Even the orphanage had begun to
see the stress of the Empire. And the brave men and women of the keep?Ha!
They were pillaged daily, their armors and weaponry stripped from their
lifeless bodies to further arm the legions of Imperials. She had to leave
now, too much had gone on. It was no longer safe for a young female there.
Too much....the footsteps were getting too close now.
