Description

A frail male figure is before you, about four and a half feet tall. He looks like a miserable beggar from the slums in that he is almost completely naked with only a scrap of rags covering his genitals and a container on his body. Unlike beggars, however, he is rather well-groomed and almost unnaturally clean, as if trying to get rid even of smallest of dusts. His built is exceptionally frail, as if he did never do any hard work or train for work or battle. The color of his skin, aside from being sunburnt beyond reasonable, seems to be sickly, much like that of people who do not care about their health too much. His head is accurately shaven and bald, skin of the hair zone being of the same texture as the rest of his skin. His eyes are of dark blue color, gleaming with morbid zeal. The brows are almost absent, burnt away by the sun. His pointy ears are twitching a bit, resembling those of a wild animal always anticipating a strike. The lips are thin and pale, tightly shut in an emotionless manner. Looking at this ascetic zealot closer, you see that:

Role

Honest view of things is the most important.

Added Sun Mar 6 13:07:31 2016 at level 15:
Aesoakob's parents were murdered by the fire giant shaman right in
the center of Galadon when they were trying to sell the vegetables
they have grown not far away from the city. Half-drow was the child
still, but he saw it that his parents couldn't do anything at all in the
battle against the shaman. The Immortal's powers in the hands of
mortals are simply making it unfair for other mortals to fight them.

Aesoakob believes that honest view of things is the most important
because it lets to see clearly, what helps to make right decisions. He
was never big or strong and never really liked to train his body hard,
so he understood that he must become the follower of one of the
Gods to use their powers when he was a child still.

Even though Aesoakob's parents were followers of the darkness and
balance he grew up and became very good person. He's tired of blood
and bloodshed he saw everywhere he traveled (and he traveled all
over Thera after the death of his parents). He doesn't want people to
fight each other, he wants peace everywhere in Thera.

Aesoakob joined the guild of paladins to protect the innocent and to
fight evil people who find it necessary to murder other people. But
protecting the innocent often means to fight evil people and criminals
and so Aesoakob fights, fights a lot. Often he thinks that he fights
even more often that those whom he fights against and he sometimes
worries about his soul. But he never enjoys the death of his enemies
and he only fights to protect the innocent, so he hopes not to become
like those he fights against. He never takes anything from any corpses
because greed is the sign of being an evil person.

The balance in Thera and in Aesoakob Saobekao's life.

Added Sun Mar 6 13:10:01 2016 at level 15:
Right now Thera is too far away from peace Aesoakob dreams
about. The forces of Darkness are now in power, the Emperor Lich is
walking around murdering everybody he meets. But the first step on
the long road to global peace in Thera and thus the celebration of
Light is at least the balance between the forces of Darkness and
Light. Aesoakob does everything he can to bring the Balance into
Thera - he helps Fortress of the Light against Empire, he protects
elves in Darsylon, dwarves in Akan and all other followers of the
Light anywhere in Thera. But he himself did never do any hard work
or train for work or battle. Aesoakob is often praying to the Lord
Deormdel asking for his blessing and guidance. He hopes that the
Lord of Balance will help Aesoakob in his battles against forces of
Darkness to maintain the Balance in Thera.

Aesoakob wants to become the Magistrate of Blood Tribunal because
he understands that his dream about global peace in Thera isn't
something what will happen anytime soon. But at least he can asssist
in maintaining peace in the protected cities. However half-drow is
good person and will never murder other good person, even if that
person is criminal Outlander. Aesoakob will force the other good
person to leave the Spire if they attack it, but he will never chase or
hunt other followers of the Light outside of the Spire.

Aesoakob still remembers how powerful was the shaman who
murdered his parents and he knows that powers of the Immortals in
the hands of mortals are simply unfair for other mortals. Half-drow
never wears or wields anything at all except a scrap of rags to cover
his genitals and a container not to become too powerful after Lord
Deormdel gives him a bit of his powers. Aesoakob believes that there
should be balance between all Therans, all Therans should be of
equal strength and there shouldn't be mortals who are much stronger
than other Therans. Whenever someone is stronger than someone else
he will often try to kill the weaker one, that's how the things are. If all
Therans were of equal strength there would be much less battles and
Thera would be much closer to peace Aesoakob dreams about because
most people think many times before attacking someone who isn't
weaker than them.

Very hard life of the good Magistrate of Blood Tribunal.

Added Sun Mar 13 11:28:42 2016 at level 27:
When Aesoakob became the Magistrate of Blood Tribunal he wanted
to protect all Therans at least in the protected cities and thought he's
doing very good for all citizens of Thera. But reality is so that
Aesoakob became not too good person himself.

Often villager Shravthar has no mages to fight, so he comes to the
Spire to murder the Magistrate warrior Krisnif and take the scales.
Thus the War between the Village and Blood Tribunal has began.
Aesoakob had to retrieve the scales and murder the neutral giant who
guards the village few times. Village applicants Woldgar and Grundo
tryed to defend the giant and attacked Aesoakob who defended
himself and killed them both.

Often Outlanders of Thar-Eris take the scales and Aesoakob has to
fight the neutral huntress in the Tree. Neutral Outlanders protect the
huntress and so Aesoakob has to fight them as well.

Many criminals who break the Laws of Thera are neutrals (mostly
Outlanders) and Aesoakob has to fight them as well. Aesoakob killed
the neutral outlander druid Ceth who was a criminal and was hunting
Aesoakob. His dream was to become the Vindicator or maybe even
the Provost of Blood Tribunal, but then he would need to fight the
neutral criminals everywhere in Thera (and obviously avoid fighting
the good criminals).

So overall instead of helping citizens of Thera Aesoakob has to fight
many neutral people. But he's warrior of the Light and his true
enemies are those who have dark hearts and criminals. And his Lord
Deormdel also said about this, that Aesoakob has to pick the battles
he fights more wisely.

Aesoakob will stop protecting the followers of the Light from the
followers of Balance to avoid more bloodshed. He will also try to
avoid fighting the neutral enemies of the Spire - the villagers and
outlanders. The only neutral people he will keep fighting are
criminals, those who broke the Laws of Thera. But if the situation
doesn't change much and he will still fight too many followers of the
Balance he's ready to quit his job as the Magistrate of Blood Tribunal
and become the Squire of the Fortress of the Light.

Aesoakob is almost ready to define his personal Honesty and Balance
and he's happy that he didn't try to do it earlier as his life of the
Magistrate of Blood Tribunal went totally not as he planned.
