Description
A solemn expression hangs on this face constantly. He moves with the grace of
an elf, but his body frame hampers it a bit. An easily correctable habit, but
one he doesn't seem to care much about changing. His hair is a jet black,
streaked and highlighted with blue dye. The callouses on his hands belie his
tendency for travel. His eyes are a dull red color, contrasting with his
aloof expression. His skin is a gray hue, and fingers are surprisingly well
groomed, as he has made some attempt to remain presentable. His ears are
never fully erect, they constantly droop slightly, as if a backdrop to the
rest of his countenance.

Background
Added Fri Oct 15 10:06:49 2004 at level 1:
Alathin was born to a human mage and a drider slave. The accidental
destruction of his mother and father due to his father's misguided attempts
to conjure gods through the divine planes of existence set him on a solemn
self-proclaimed mission to end the mistakes made by magi, whatever the cost.
Alathin and the Village
Added Fri Oct 22 19:34:57 2004 at level 30:
Alathin was questioned repeatedly by the Ragers about his past. He went on to
describe his drider/human heritage. How his father experimented on the drider
mother and how he eventually killed her. He described nights of singing to
her and reading books as the only things he could do in the solitary mage
tower. Described how despite the mage's attempts to take him as his son, he
firmly rejected it.
He views warfare as an art, the battlefield as a tapesty, soldiers as tools,
goals as colors, deeds as scenery and the corpses as subject matter. He also
sees Dralkoz's attitude and base obsession with the scars he leaves on his
opponent as the epitome of this perception.
