Description
Dominating this elf face is three thin scars stretching from forehead to
chin. Faded but still in stark contrast to pale skin. Tightly bound silvery
hair is draped across his neck. Sunken eyes of pale grey sits beside an
angular nose. Soft features with more rounded face than usual for an elf, a
chin that is barely discernible. Rounded shoulders and, if visible with
clothing, delicate arms. More lean than muscular. Of less than average height
and with a slight bow to his head making him seem even smaller.

Allatell was born in Darsylon during unremarkable circumstances. A quiet
upbringing with no strife, raids or war at the time. A gentle soul it was
said about him. Quiet words and soft voice was all that was ever heard. Order
and light was his bread and water. For art and healing he was groomed.
Though within his heart something else grew. Not anger not hatred, but a
longing of sorts. A hunger for something else. One day a feral wolf, by
chance or fate, came upon young Allatell. Lean and mad with hunger it lunged
at him.Teeth ripped into fair flesh and blood pooled the soft earth, until
suddenly Allatell fought back. He fought with all his strength all his will.
Soon the blood of both spattered on the leaves and brushes all around them
until finally the wolf limped away. Broken and bloody Allatell fell to the
ground. Curiously though a smile was plastered across his face. His heart was
beating rapidly but not in fear, though it was present. No something else
dominated his emotions, thrill perhaps...elation maybe. Something different
from what was known.
As soon as he was well enough he made his way to Galadon, was soon enrolled
within the guild of paladins. for that day with the wolf something else awoke
within him. The life laid out was not his path...
War has begun

Battles won and battles lost. Allatell has grown under the tutelages of
paladin masters. He has seen far away lands and battled demonic creatures of
all sorts. Greater challenges, greater combat. His mind has become more
focused, more in tune with his emotions. His path is laid clear. A quiet life
out of the battle for redemption and light will never suit him again. He
needs challenge and feels the urge to war against evil in all its form.
The lord Panmorne he has sought out and conversed with. A powerfull being
though coarse and rough in tongue. Allatells first meeting with the
loud-mouthed lord gave him much insight. The battle and war that he wages.
Ever after he has searched, prayed and meditated on what his war is. It is
starting to crystallize into further ideals. The paladin code he holds dear
for not only is it just and right but it rings well with his upbringing and
core beliefs. Though the war he seeks and war he foughts is against foul and
evil creations of undead. The pain not only they wreak upon the unfortunate
souls that meet them, but also the creatures pain themself is paramount. It
need to be cleansed from the land, redeemed and brought into light. Such
abominations of evil will not persist and shall be waged war upon.
Of Missions and Blessings.

Allatell has grown within his guild, grown in stature and prowess. Though
much is still yet to learn he has focused his purpose. Within the stout walls
of fortress he now wages his war. The halls echo with the footsteps and
clamour of battles fought. This gives Allatell calm and clarity of mind.
Great knowledge lies with the brethren that stand at the forefront. Useful
for Allatell for his continued growth and battle against darkness and undead.
Panmorne has graced Allatell with blessings of great power, though he has
some trouble utilizing them properly in combat he most surely will learn.
Even so, the implication is of importance; His purpose is clear and path
correct. He will double his effort of Panmorne's command; to scout the undead
and learn to better combat them. With this Allatell is unsure on how to
proceed as The paladin code prohibits any association with evil and that is
not something he is able or willing to break. A way will present itself,
either through his guild or further pondering upon the matter.
Tasks

Allatell is conflicted about going deeper into enemy territory. Last talk
with Panmorne he ventured his idea to truly scout the enemy; seek out
Gaspare abode and see what can be learned. A dangerous mission he was warned
and as the gravitas is dawning upon him his steps are slightly more hesitant.
Though he feels this is the correct path to further his goals and light. Not
quite sure how to proceed, but first he must find his abode. Then see what
plays out. Scouting his friends, he sees nothing wrong with this. The logic
is sound, know thy friends and know how they do battle. A list is being
prepared with strength weakness and others that will be brought to Panmorne.
Regarding the food competition, well Allatell feels strongly about this and
will do his utmost. For to loose means to get bonked in the head by that
staff again. Perhaps Gaspare is the easier task.
Gaspare

My grip tightened upon the hilt of Amathylar. Trusty blade that brought me
through many battles, its edge still sharp and clean. Before me was doors of
opulence, made by something that seemed to have lost contact with reality.
Hesitantly I pushed the doors open and stepped inwards. Heart thumping,
curious that I should be so affected. I have walked into lairs of untold
dangers, seen my own blood splattered across the ground but this place seems
something else. With a sigh I draw on the resolve offered by Lord Panmorne
and slowly move further into what can only be the work of insanity.
strange artefacts, rooms of beauty , all passed as I crept further into enemy
territory. I would rather forget them all and not be reminded of the insanity
that spawned this place. That is until I found a painting. Depicting a lovely
woman, even for me who have forsaken such thoughts in favor of my war. A
curious thing, found in the centre of the room. I can only imagine the
importance it holds. Yes, I mused, love. Fear of love or loss or even spurned
love. I am certain this is central to Gaspares descent into madness and foul
undead. A whisper of movement brought me out of my reveries, shadows seemed
to creep towards me purposefully. Were they malicious or did I detect a hint
of welcoming, strange. Either way I made my retreat swiftly and with not a
small amount of trepidation. Further knowledge will have to be gained another
time.
To seek out a Mad lich

I turned the page of the book before me mindlessly as I sat before a simple
desk within the fortress walls. Thoughts turned towards ghostly apparition
that came before me. Was it merely a mind game of Gaspares, something more
insidious or just my tired mind playing tricks. Either way, I must make my
way further into madness domain and seek out Gaspare. The knowledge gained
has the potential to give me an edge against the undead and Empire. I need
it, shadows of my blood stains the lands far and away from my battles. Though
I am hesitant to walk further into darkness, faith shall keep me through.
Panmorne seems to agree, though he cautions and pokes with that sharp stick
of his all the time. At least his domain shall be a safe haven for me if
Gaspares wroth is raised....or mine. His other tasks, the scouting and
finding a fine dish is finished, I will discuss it another time with my
Patron when time permits.
I snapped out of my reveries with a sigh. Looking down, I seem to have
crudely drawn a ghostly figure on the papers before me. It seems to leer at
me as the shadows from a single candle dance across the room. Snarling I
close the book and draw on my powers to bring fire into the room, banishing
the shadows from thought and room.
A fire burning still

The flames were growing low in the fireplace. Only an amber glow seemed to
reflect out into the room, the shadows creeping forward were light recedes. Is
there a pattern to the shadows, that I merely can not see. With shaking hands
I rummage about with the poker but no matter what I do, I can not fan the
flames to their former glory. Sighing, I lean back with blood-spattered
armor creaking and gaze into the dying hearth.
Gaspare the mad, gaspare the love struck. His words are foul and hidden
meaning ring out and strike at you as shadows. They creep up, surround you
and draw you into doubt. I must stay strong in purpose, I thought, and the
hearth flared for a moment in response. The lich eternal, brought to his
state by love. I can not relate, I feel no love, no longing. I have no
passion that I fight for. Do I even feel anything? I have purpose so he
mockingly told me, it is enough. My purpose brings safety to farmers and
travellers alike. I will not be drawn into darkness and insanity's domain, I
shall keep to the Creed. Lord Panmorne will get his report, I have learned
something at least.
A low grunt, or was it a cackle, escapes as I rise from the floor. Small
drops of blood trickle down my blade and mar the hay-covered floor. I wonder,
do the screams of goodly sound any different than the screams of evil...I
think not. As I make my way past the corpses of goblins strewn across the
wind-weathered cabin in various poses of final agony, something makes me
pause for a moment. Both hearth and shadows seem to intensify until one can
not be distinguished from the other. It passes in an instant and I can move
again. Before stepping out in the howling wind I glance back towards the
hearth. The embers are almost out.
