Description
You find yourself looking at an attractive woman by human standards.
Her hair is golden blonde like that of the sun shining on a field of
wheat. The hair has been pulled back into twin pony tails, tied
together with blue ribbons. The ribbons match her sapphire colored
eyes and for a moment a sparkle of innocence can be seen before it is
replaced with a malice. Her skin is lightly tan, and smooth and silkly to
the look. Her body is on the more lithe side, with long legs hinting at
an agile creature. Dark, blue shadowy makeup outline her eyes, while
her cheeks and lips remain unblemeshed. Her gear seems to be fairly
well kept with a specs of crimison in vairous spots. She is average
height for a human woman, and her young years evident.

Nightmares. Twisted dreams with the express purpose of conjuring
fear, pain, despair, and just overall terror as one sleeps. But what if
nightmares come forth when wide awake? What if they are more than
simple dreams turned from light to dark? What if you awake from one
nightmare to be only faced with a real nightmare? And what if you are
but a child when it begins? What if the thing in life is suppose to
protect you, but instead becomes twisted and dark, creating a deep
seed of terror within that child? How would this mold them?
The Shadowed Figure in the Door's Light

It was night, for a couple of hours now and Alyce should have been
alseep already, but the yelling woke her, keeping her from happy
dreams. The noise was frightful. She could hear her father and mother
screaming at one another. Alyce pulled the sheets up to her nose as
she set in the bed listening.
Suddenly the yelling ended and heavy footsteps echoed down the
hall, growing louder as they neared the door. Ominous creeking filled
the air as the door to Alyce's room slowly opened. Light fell upon her
as she sat in bed, eyes fearful from the fighting. A figured, shadowed
by the light behind them stood in the door way, a drink in hand as it
seemed to stare at the girl.
Before it entered, a woman's voice whispered "Don't...please...I'll let
you do what you want, just don't." The figure took another swig of
their drink before closing the door, leaving Alyce to be safe in the
darkness and stillness of the room.
Broken Vase

It was a typical summer day. The sky was bright, the weather warm to
hot, and Alyce was home doing her daily chores. There was nothing
particular about this. Her mother was out, as was her father for the
time being so she was left with cleaning. It was normal for a teenage
girl to help around the house.
As she cleaned, the sound of the front door opening and closing
echoed and she smiled at the thought of her mother's return. Alyce
hurried to the front room only to find her father. The smell of cheap
booze lingered in the air and in the man's hands, more drink could be
seen. Upon seeing Alyce, the drunken man grinned, leering at her
with a lustful gleam. He stepped towards her, and in reaction she
stepped back, bumping into a table.
It fell, shattering into several parts. It was old to begin with,
something that once belonged to the drunken man's mother. The
memory and value split and scattered. Alyce gasped, dropping to the
ground to collect the broken pieces all the while aplogizing for her
clumisness. As she collected the remains, she looked up to see her
fathers dirty boots in front of her. Her gaze rose to see him take
another drink of his draught, and then his hands fell upon her.
She laid in her bed unmoving, tears staining her cheeks, her body sore
and in pain. The door to her room clicked shut stealing away what
light was there. The darkness hid her bruises, her shame, the blood
that stained her legs. As the light faded from the room, so did the girl,
darkness was all that remained, and all that remained of her was a
woman made improper.
Blood Upon the Cupboard Doors

The next couple of years were not kind to Alyce. Her body wasn't her
own, more a thing for her father to do as he pleased. Her mother
would do nothing, only sobbing at the sounds of Alyce's plea. But
another summer day had come. Nothing special about the day. It was
very much the same as that first day. Warm and clear, the town lively
with summer day cheer. The green meadow leading to her own was a
disguise, hiding away the wicked happenings inside.
Unlike other times, Alyce found herself pinned down in the kitchen
instead of her room. Her father forcing her mother to sit in a chair and
watch as he did whatever he wanted. Alyce pleaded for her mother to
help, tears of pain and shame streaming down her face as she cried
for help. But her mother only stared away, looking out the window.
Alyce began to laugh, perhaps more a cackling. Her father stopped,
bewildered and caught off guard by the sudden change. He looked
down at the girl and instead of shame and fear on her face, a long,
malovent grin crossed her face. Her tears had stopped, replaced with
malice in her eyes. Her father backed away, just enough to let Alyce
slip from his grasp
Quickly leaping to her feet, she grabbed a butcher knife from a
counter. Her father sneered questioning what she planned to do.
Before Alyce could reply he lept at her only to find the knife buried
into his gut. He reeled in pain and feel to the floor. Alyce lept upon
him pulling the knife from him only to place it back over and over and
over. Her mother screamed, rushing to her hubsand's side, knocking
Alyce away. She sobbed over his bleeding body, weeping and crying.
As her mother knelt and wept, Alyce pulled her mothers head back
gently, looking into her eyes. With a smile, Alyce slit her mother's
throat, spraying blood everywhere. The crimson liquid rolled down
the cupboards, drip by drip by drip.
About the Character
Added Sun Jul 18 14:36:40 2021 at level 10:
Alyce is a victim of abuse. Her mother broken, and her father a
leacherous rapist, took Alyce's innocence and teen years away from.
Alyce only seem to find comfort in the dark, the shadows, where no
one could see her pain or shame. Eventually Alyce snapped, no longer
willing to let the bad things happen to her, she lashed out killing her
father, driving all the rage and hate and pain into him. Then she killed
her mother for letting it happen to Alyce.
Alyce is a bit crazed, wanting the world to hurt as she has. Her rage
only being sated when everyone has suffered like her. She has
traveled from spot to spot, using the streets as her own hunting
ground, luring men into alleys and inns and putting them to death.
Through her time in the streets and various taverns and back alleys,
she heard whispers of a group near Hamsah who seek to make the
world darker, eternally. She now seeks to find them, and perhaps join
them, especially if it is true of an eternal darkness. Darkness, the only
place she felt safe.
Thief Path: Mystic, she found herself with an affinity towards such
tricks and tools and intends to use them.
Religion: Will make her way towards Morius and his church
Cabal: Seeks to join the Scions
Immeractions: Will take the good with the bad, meaning if bad things
happen to her, I'm fine with that, so you have my permission for good
and bad things to happen to her.
PK: Just a heads up, I'm not a good PKer

Damn it! Alyce screamed in her mind. How could she be so weak
when she had the element of surprise on her side. Failures, every
single attempt. From the battle rager to the squires, all of them
escaped or pushed her back. How, how can I hope to impress the
wizard with such...such..paltry showings.
She strode through the streets of Seantryn, lost in her thoughts,
mulling over possibilities with each one she envisoned failure. She
grated her teeth, her anger and rage swelling at the thought of not
being able to make them suffer. All of them suffer like she had.
Alyce turned down an alley, two men following her. They could not
believe their luck to find such an attractive girl in such an
advantageous situation for them. The two men grinned at each other,
their thoughts of easy prey distracting them from the lair they had
walked into.
Alyce turned to them, a feign look of fear upon her face, eyes wide in
make believe terror. "Please...please don't hurt me," she whimpered.
The men laughed, closing in on the girl. One began to reply, but it was
to late, the spider had sprung her trap. His words a scream of pain as a
dagger found his stomach, a quick twist sealing his fate. Before his
friend could react, Alyce's foot swept his leg, sending him to the
ground follow by a swift kick to the face. He turned to crawl away,
only to find a crimson smile across his neck.
Her rage sated for now, she grinned. Yes, this could work. I'll use
deception to drive my enemies against one another. Let their axes,
their magic, their foolishness be an extenstion of my own dagger.
This, this might impress Viz. Damnable wizard, I hope you notice my
work, because they will not realize the night comes before its too late.
****************************
I've been pretending to be something I'm not to every cabal. The
Fortress believes Alyce might be a rager, and thanks to the Ability of
Veil of Souls, I've been able to have her mask her dark nature. I've
made sure they've seen me without a red aura, made sure to "help"
them with information about their enemies to gain a little of their
trust. I've also managed to convince two of the leaders of the
Outlanders, Delk and Moja, that I hate the Empire and do not trust the
cities, that I seek to become a Herald. That farce has led me to feed
that to the village as well.
I've provided them locations of mages, especially of the Fortress,
hinting that I could be an ally. I've offered my scouting to the Spire,
especially Kira, letting on that I am trying to raise gold to be a guild
master. I've provided some information to Imperials as I attempt to
convince them I could be a good source for such things. Grakkor
doesn't trust me. He is the major pin that needs to fall.
All of this to impress Viz in hopes of finding a spot among the Scions.
All the while, even convincing an Initiate of the Jaguar to travel with
me. Hopefully Morius has noticed.
