Description
Before you is an alluringly, sensual, and svelte drow. Her ebon skin is
impossibly smooth and beautifully taut, and her well toned body moves with
the grace of a dancer. Her eyes are a pale red, and have a distant faraway
look them, almost as if she is thinking about something other than the
present. The clothing she wears is well cared for, but every single article
appears to belightly covered in fine spider webs. Her brilliant white hair
is pulled back from her elegant face in an intricate braid that falls to the
small of her back. It is healthy and smooth, but it also appears to writhe
in a perplexing manner.Upon further inspection you realize that her hair
is filled with scores of tiny white spiders that dance and crawl within her
deftly woven braid.

I have now traveled with the Sisters for many years upon the surface
lands, and we have explored many places and have discovered many things.
While researching the ways of the Scions, I was directed to a large fiery
giant by the name of Satoshi. I was, however, warned that he might
demand a high price for the information I seek. I sought out Satoshi, he
instructed me to visit the Lyceum, and within those walls of knowledge I
studied the Sundering. What an epic and bloody battle that was! But
even more importantly, it spoke of the birth of the Scions when they
tapped into an ancient darkness as old as time. This must be what my
Ancient Queen spoke of! When the Scions bring the Darkness back to the
surface lands, that is when our Queen will rise again! I must join up
with these Scions to help them reach our common goal, though I must admit
that I have an alterior motive. After I learned all I could within the
walls of the Lyceum, I sought out Satoshi again. He was very pleased
with my studies, and we spoke a bit about Azuremain and Mathein. He said
he was satisfied with my desire for knowledge, but wanted to test me
further with my physical skills. He instructed me to strike the Maran of
the Fortress and weaken it substantially. The Sisters and I struck
silently so the priests would not be alerted by our deed, and then
informed Satoshi of our success. He was pleased with my dedication and
said he would write a scroll about me to the Scions. The Sisters are
pleased with my progress, and we both feel that the Queen's return is
well within our grasp!
The Nitty Gritty

Arianzae will often refer to herself as a collective, speaking not only for
herself, but for his -sisters- as well. She might sometimes also seek to
convene with them before making any decisions.
She can be a bit lost and distant, and this is due the the hardships upon her
psyche whilst in the spider pit.
She is sphere dedication because her sole purpose in life is to prepare the
lands for the Queen, and she hungers for as much knowledge of the lands, races,
and secrets of the realm as she can find, while at the same time vanquishing
the foes that might seek to destroy the Queen. Therefore, she will probably
wish to join up with the Scions because of their relatively mutual goals.
Champion of the Ancient White Spider Queen

Arianzae is the 2nd born daughter of the very powerful House Iulinzeria in Teth
Azeleth. From a young age it was apparent that Arianzae was clearly more gifted
than her older sister Ullande; she was more intelligent, more physically
gifted, and more favored by the elders of the city. In Teth Azeleth there is
already a malevolent competitiveness that exists amongst the drow, but the
hatred Ullande hadfor her sister was epic.
Ullande, as the rightful heir to the House Iulinzeria, tolerated her sister's
brilliance, however, when the rumors of Arianzae becoming the successor to
House Iulinzeria started, it sent Ullande into a rage. Ullande decided that
she needed to murder her sister so that she could solidify her claim to the
house. A simple death was not good enough for Ullande, she wanted Arianzae to
suffer as much as she had suffered.
With the help of some bribed house slaves, Ullande poisoned Arianzae's evening
meal, and when she was unconscious, she had her dragged out to the Underdark.
Ullande broke both of Arianzae's legs and threw her into a deep pit filled with
tiny poisonous spiders. Ullande knew that Arianzae would never be able to
escape the pit with two broken legs, and that the spiders would give Arianzae a
very slow and painful death.
When Arianzae finally awoke she found herself broken at the bottom of the pit
covered in spiders. She tried to fight them away, but with the inability to
escape, it was only a matter of time until she succumbed to the spiders and
their poison.
She lay broken and battered on the floor, poison from a hundred spider bites
coursing through her veins. She writhed in pain and anger, but refused to give
in to the embrace of death. After many days of this pain, still refusing to
die, something strange happened.
An ancient giant white spider descended into the pit and pushed aside the
smaller spiders. She peered curiously at the pitiful creature before her, and
seemed to wonder why the drow refused to die. She marveled and the dedication
of this drow, and pondered something that she had been dwelling on for
milleniums. It seemed fate had dropped this strong willed creature at her
feet, would this be the creature that would help bring the ancient spider back
to the glory and the power that it once knew so long ago?
The Ancient White Spider Queen decided that this was indeed her champion. She
spun a large sac around Arianzae to mend her broken body, and spoke to the
young drow with her mind. She spoke to Arianzae about her desires, and told
her to go forth to the surface to prepare the land for Her return. When
Arianzae was healed, the Queen unraveled her from her web. Just as Arianzae
was about to begin her lifelong quest, the Queen told Arianzae to take her new
sisters with her. Arianzae nodded, and then smiled wickedly as scores of tiny
white spiders emereged from beneath the Queen to accompany Arianzae.
