Description
A slender saurian female is before you, noticeably immediately are her
shimmering emerald scales. They are vibrant and look to be oiled and cared
for. She is incredibly thin and even appears almost malnourished. Her bone
structure is very clear against her skin. She does not have overt beauty, yet
she carries herself as if she does. Her claws are a a shiny white, looking as
if they have not been used in sometime. She has a narrow jaw full of
ivory-white teeth. Her eyes are narrow and black, looking devoid of emotion.
A closer look unveils that...

Awakening

Awaken.
She heard the voice reverberate through her mind.
A grainy deep voice, it cut into the dream like a knife.
Asadax had been somewhere else, in between worlds. She had been an
experiment, a chief took her young body and envenomated her with a potent
toxin. One that her saurian body would survive, yet constantly be on the cusp
of death.
This deranged herbalist kept her in this state for years. Daily, he would
apply the toxin. Daily he would heal her. He wanted to observe the longterm
affects of one dancing with Weh.
Little did this creature know, the true value in what he had done was not in
the effects on the body, but the effects her spirit and mind had endured.
Asadax, was afterall someplace else.
She spent those years in and out of her own body. Death would creep up on her
and she would glimpse the hells and abyss. Then as remedy was applied, she role + would be pulled back into that shell of a body she had.
Her visits were impactful to say the least. She was a wretched child before
this all, thievery and murder were commonplace. But that was survival, this
aged her mind in ways few could comprehend.
She witnessed a world ruled by competence. She fell in love with it. The
greatest beings were dominant. The weak perished or served. But most of all,
she was enamored with the fact that each being was what they were. They took
pride in it, from the most disgusting of demons to the most disagreeable of
devils. There was no deception, there was no need for it.
She recalled her own world, a world of frauds and fakes. Like an infectious
disease this false virtue had swept over the lands. Her own people divided
into true saurians and the frauds that wanted to show their virtue to the
paladins.
But in this place, she saw what the world should be. She saw what the world
could be. The suffering here was undeniable, but the brutal truth often was
cold and decisive. It was the lies and weakness of the overworld that only
made it seem different.
It was interesting how this daily process brought a degree of calm to Asadax.
Her life before was entirely on impulse. She came to understand that part of
herself during this experience. An empty vessel without purpose will always
act in such away. Our impulses are tools, something to be embraced... and yet
the lies that surrounded the overworld masked this and created the false
concept of 'guilt'.
All of these thoughts came swirling again as she heard the voice once more.
"Awaken child."
A New View

A buzzing sound overtook her and a flash of white crossed her vision. A
grinning hooded figure was visible briefly. Then her eyes opened. She was
back.
The dank, disgusting smell of her surroundings was enough to infuriate her.
She saw her captor, slumbering. She took the the vials of venom at her
bedside, in which one was used per day. She opened ten of them and poured
them down his throat.
He quickly entered a cataplexic state and met his end.
She was foolish. She realized her memories were fleeting. She focused as best
she could to retain the hells. To retain all she had seen and learned, and
yet only a glimpse remained.
Still, an imprint of the experience was deeper than memory. It had changed
her. The voice, the face... it too was ever-present in her mind now. She felt
something about her entirely different as well. She looked over her body and
admired it.
She was chosen.
She almost glimmered with potential. How had she not seen this before? How
could she not have? Every muscular curve, every shimmering scale was a gift
to the world.
She felt renewed purpose, despite her fleeting memories. Then... she looked
around her. The world was as it always was. It was an utterly demoralizing
sight. She had to act. She knew this now. She needed to fix this world....
for she was a part of it. For it to exist as it is...was demeaning to her. It
was her responsibility to correct this and make it suitable for her.
She felt some power in her now, something that wasn't there before. She
focused on a calling dark power and what wounds she had sealed. She grinned
and knew her path forward, she had to understand this power and the voice.
Gathering the Flock

The meeting with Riettlor was unexpected. It went unexpected as well. He was
not the simple pawn Asadax had presumed and after her encounter and her
emotions quelled, she realized he was more than he seemed. He cared about
himself above all, yes. But he should. One thing Asadax realized after this
was he cared about others finding the same purity that he had, someone to
challenge him.
This was the will of Morius, to sin, to indulge.
She considered her own goals, to change the world. To make it ripe in the
image of the abyss, of the hells. A vision Morius could see clearer than any.
How would she accomplish this? Certainly she would not through pure
bloodshed... such a thing is in the hearts of the reavers. She wasn't such a
fool.
No, she would need to preach and teach. The masses have been taught to ignore
the vices they seek. She would need to not only embrace her own pride and
vices, but guide others to the same.
She understood some would take time, some would take patience. Others, could
be...coaxed in different ways. It was an aspiration for her now, to bring
about the same fire she had kindled through Morius in others.
She would feel a sense of pride in this. She would show she was more than
simply a capable killer. Morius would surely appreciate it.
