Description
Before you stands a man of a very light build. His red hair flows freely
around his head, obscuring some of his facial traits, yet you can clearly
make out his human build. His eyes are blue green, they seem seeking, not
nervous. His walk is that of a careful cat. Yet he lacks the grace. His hands
are coarse as if they frequently are used in labor, his voice is more like
that of a dwarf in that it is dark and slow almost methodical. The garments
are adorned with some flowing symbols, but it is hard to tell what they mean.
Role
Family relationship and history

My family was deeply religious and had many rituals, as we lived
close to the seas they naturally worshiped Rayihn. Our household
was somewhat akin to the sea, my father.s lessons were at times
ruthless yet my mother.s comfort was always calm and filled with
love. My parents were like a storm at times, their arguments could
go on for days however they always seemed to communicate what
they needed to even through their differences. When encountering
difficulties they worked in unison, much like a wave hitting a ship,
a single droplet would not move it, but many droplets can move
even the toughest stone. Their desire to explore the seas was only
kept at bay because of me their only child and when I was old
enough to enter training under the shaman.s guild they departed
and I have yet to hear from them again.
While my family was not wealthy they were never considered poor,
yet their efforts in supporting the fellow followers of Rayihn was
always in their foremost interest and as I child I never had much in
the form of toys or trinkets but I was involved with many people
and saw many different aspects of life due to my families efforts in
keeping their faith.
My faith
Added Wed May 11 21:05:26 2011 at level 3:
I found that I was heavily influenced by my parents in my choice of
faith, having seen the untamed power of the sea yet its soothing and
healing power I found a balance in it that I could not find
elsewhere. The sea while unrelenting it also gives when treated
with the proper respect, it discriminates not on what or who walks
on or in it, all it cares about is that you pay heed to its .mood.. I
see it like a large entity that you may interact with or be oblivious
to. Should you choose the latter you will suffer the consequences
but if you listen to its voice you can reach many a place and gain
much knowledge and strength.
The role of a shaman suited my temper well as I was never the one
to stand at the back keeping an eye out, I rather wanted to act and
distract my foes leaving them vulnerable to my allies strikes.
Growing up in the city of Seantryn Moedan was not easy as
corruption seemed high in the guards and so many guards of a
darker nature, yet my teachers always taught me that one must have
patience and determination to reach ones goals rushing in without
any thought will only leave disaster. The scars of the world will not
heal without making someone see that they have to change, at times
one must make a sacrifice and be the change oneself so that others
may see that what they are doing is not working.
What I did learn was not only that I have co-exist with those of a
dark nature but also those individuals that work with them that may
not be dark of heart. This distinction has been difficult at best for
me, and it has caused much frustration at times leading to me
lashing out at my fellow students. I think it will take time before I
can tame that .beast. though the question remains should I?

greater understanding of his religion and receive some guidance so
that I may continue to grow and enhance my skills. A second
objective is to find allies that I am comfortable with perhaps even a
common cause to fight for. I have heard rumors of a gathering in
the mountains north east of Galadon, though I know little of what
they do at this time, It is something I should investigate further.
I have yet to encounter anything that I am deadly afraid of besides
being trapped beneath solid rock, I like the waters even crushing
depths, though the solid walls of a mountain make me uneasy.
Sphere water
Added Tue May 17 00:29:03 2011 at level 12:
As I walk in life I see this element water everywhere I go, it is in
all things, even the driest of deserts has water, all beings even the
air contains this element that is necessary for most if not all life to
exist. I think of this when I fight and embrace my faith, the water
around us grants us life, it sustains us and without it we wither and
die. Water can be the ultimate weapon and the element that
quenches just about any fire. When considering the different
aspects water has on life one can make a virtual endless list of
properties that reflect different aspects of life. The metaphor I
would choose to describe my relationship to water is how I see
myself in the world. I am a single droplet that can grow in mass, I
can implement change even move a mountain moving one pebble
at a time. Digging underneath a pillar with concentrated effort can
topple a mountain and if it is done carefully it can topple even the
mightiest of empires. I have no desire to remain a single droplet, I
wish to summon a wave to show the strength of water, to heal the
lands of the plague that is so prevalent. So that the dark spawn that
seeks to drain the lands of all its wealth and life will see not only
the beauty but also the power of a wave that cleanses the land. In
my life I hope to see other droplets follow and become part of this
wave so that it will gather strength and have the desired impact.
I do realize that I cannot stand alone against a tide, but must move
with it, and learn the different nuances that this element holds.
Knowing that one must learn and not close oneself off to
knowledge is the last aspect of water that is important to me.
Empowerment.

My first meeting with Lady Rayihn. I presented her with the simple
gifts gathered from various places that I have visited. A music box
that replicates music man makes, yet it does not compare to the
sounds of a true storm, the music that the seas make, yet we do
what we can to pay tribute to such beauty. My second gift was a
bottle of perfume, gathered from the sweet smelling flowers
gathered from across the world, smells that are used to enhance a
women.s beauty so that they may look more alike Lady Rayihn
herself. The last gift I presented was a black pearl, gathered from
the depths of the seas, rare in its own right and coveted by man, it
bears no reflection yet we gaze endlessly at it. Just as we might
have if the Lady was in front of us.
Lady Rayihn and I talked for a bit, I talked a bit about my future
and where .my place. would be, and how my history relates to
where I am going. It seems it was I that talked at length, and I told
her that I wanted to learn, that I am still young and seek knowledge
about her religion. She told me to live life and reflect upon her
religion and see how it relates to my own experiences.
Thus my goal is now clear, I shall seek a place within the Fortress
of light and live my life as I can and take time to reflect upon what
happens in correlation to Lady Rayihn.s religion.
For Lady Rayihn

As I sit on top of my mountain of solitude I gaze out upon the
clouds beneath me, I can see far but I cannot see down, the clouds
are too thick, at times I see a glimmer of light in those clouds, I
hear others reaching out. Yet all I do is smile and gaze at the
clouds, at times I will move down from my mountain top and join
those that walk beneath, but still I keep my walls high, like a stone
envelops my heart in the fear of someone cracking that shell I made
to protect myself from all of those that would do it harm. I shed no
tears sitting in this self-made solitude, it was made to protect what I
have left, left of humanity and compassion for others. I know that I
must maintain this small piece where my actions will not influence
this one piece of my heart so that it can retain just this. The ability
to feel and bleed not blood but feelings. So I close it up and hide it
deep down so I can do what I am so good at doing, do what I have
to do to be successful. I pull out my whip of flame and lash out at
those that attempt to approach, those that move close to that heart
will feel its sting. Thus I am left to my solitude. My self-made
castle serves many functions, it protects me from others and others
from me. But now those walls are cracked, I have not maintained
this shell that so protected me from all those things all those years.
you came by and found one crack, peeked inn and found one of the
remnants that still desire company, now I forge the stones embrace
once again to stem the bleeding and retain some sort of sanity. My
love for thee Lady of the lotus is eternal, I feel your strength in my
veins each day and your guiding hand. Yet I am at times lost in my
own fog.
Inducted into the Fortress of light.

As time has passed I have fought valiantly from outside the
Fortress of light, trying to prove my worth. At one point this day
the Marshall of the Fortress, Rhone was there and saw me at one
drive off 3 imperials. Not without aid from his shielding of course.
After showing up at every yell from the Maran guardian I finally
was accepted into the Fortress of light. The day did not end there
as more younglings struck and attempted to strike at me through
summoning me to the outer guardian. However I had the final
word in this as I summoned their summoner and then the warrior.
Their shaman got away but I managed to kill their warrior with the
aid of the Watcher. My tactics worked perfectly as I slowly drained
the strength of the warrior and forced him to flee into the Watcher
or die slowly at my hands. In all humbleness the fight might not
have gone my way if I had not used the tactics I did. As I let the
warrior think he was doing more harm than he actually was as I
had let my sanctuary fall so he would gain some confidence that
he could actually kill me. And to my luck it worked perfectly.
Later this same day the skirmishes continued between those of the
Fortress of light and the Imperial horde. We kept them at bay even
with our small number, and they kept striking. None falling at each
side but retreating to lick their wounds. I got to see in person the
synergy between Rhone and Jallastan, both taking advantage of the
disorganized Imperials and retreating when necessary.
Faith and fight, not fight or flight.

As I have ventured in the lands I have learned much about my own
faith. I have seen the effects of my prayers and my foes more often
than not run rather than stay. Even with my conservative use. Being
conservative allows me to hold them there giving them the
confidence they need to think the fight is going in their direction
before applying the last draining powers that would deny them the
quick escape. Faith wise I have learned much about the resolve it
takes to stay and fight, to not get lost in anger. I have noticed that
the fury at times overtake my senses, something that is not
appropriate for a priest of Lady Rayihn. I must learn to control this
fury and focus on the healing properties of water, the calm in the
seas and only call fourth a storm when it is needed to show my foes
that they have chosen a wrong path and need to be cleansed.
I firmly believe that the only way for the land to heal is through
showing those of a darker nature that should they continue to
oppose and plague those of the light there will be one result. Their
demise or hiding in a cave. The land will not heal by itself, and
those of us that can do something about this must stand their
ground so that the people and the land is allowed to heal the
scars created by the wicked. Those that destroy the lands for the
sole reason to increase their own power. One must respect the
beauty of the land, for it is only matched by the glory that is
Rayihn. Her beauty outshines it all, however as a mortal we
must nourish the lands not drain them of its beauty. Just as we
pay tribute to the beauty that is Lady Rayihn.
As for love, I have yet to experience this, so my search continues,
as the only love I know is for the lady of the purple lotus. My
thoughts go to her every day. The prayers I utter remind me that
she is the source of my strength. I only wish I had more insight so
I could understand the connection between the different aspects of
her faith. My understanding grows slowly, but it is hardly in
unison. Perhaps it is all about nourishment, one must nourish the
flower to make it grow, so you can in turn let it blossom into
the beauty that it is. Just as the people around you must be
nourished so they may reach their potential. Which can be limitless.
Perhaps it is love and water that nourishes the soul and these in turn
can heal any scar that in turns reveals true beauty.
The Purple Lotus

As I have ventured into the lands I have seen much and as we
agreed upon when we spoke the first time I have sought to
gain understanding of what your religion is about. And I think
finally that I have garnered enough insight.
First I traveled to a place where I could find a lotus flower.
I found them blossoming in the harsh desert, where little
life survive, but in a small desert oasis it was thriving.
As I studied it I found myself enthralled by its beauty, nothing
compared to your own of course Lady Rayihn. But captivating
nonetheless, it survives through its extraordinary ability to find
water, much like us it also depends on this life giving substance.
The lotus flower survives because of its extraordinary ability to
adapt to harsh conditions. We must also strive to do this, being able
to adapt to various conditions and thrive, we must seek excellence
so that we inspire others to follow and strive to be better. In our
ventures we must find what nourishes us and show our love for
that. As that is also part of what nourishes the lotus.
Its captivating beauty is also another aspect of which one must
not forget, that while striving for these goals we must not loose
ourselves to vanity. For while we are shining beacons that guide
others and they flock to admire and love us we must remain true
true to our goals. To be able to heal the lands we must also show
our love for what we do, we must strive to be that beacon of
light so that others will be inspired to follow in your tracks.
Last name and the fight against Evil.
Added Tue Jun 28 02:58:29 2011 at level 41:
At first I was frustrated with not being able to heal others, as I
thought this was a huge thing, as I continually wanted to aid my
allies by curing their wounds but now my eyes are opened. Their
wounds can also be cured when I stand at the front lines battling
those that would inflict those wounds. When I do my work, those
wounds will never be inflicted upon the innocent, I will take part of
that taint and cleanse it with the powers you have given to me.
So far I have brought storms to my foes, and they run swiftly when
I approach. Few desire to stay and fight for long, which can be
frustrating, but the end result remains the same, they hide in a hole
doing little evil other than plotting. No action is taken on their part
while time is allowed to pass and the nourishing properties of water
and love heal the lands, allowing its beauty to blossom. For this
vision to happen I must become the storm that washes away my
foes ambitions and strikes fear into their hearts so they may be
cleansed of this evil that threatens to corrupt the hearts of the
people in these lands. Thus I shall strive to bring the powers of
water with me so I may cleanse those that stand in my way, I shall
be known as the Storm-bringer. And one day clouds of heavy rain
will follow in my wake cleansing evil as I wade through the horde
that dare stand in my way. My foes shall know that only through
redemption and purification shall they find love and healing, until
then I shall hunt them to the very ends of Thera.
Athaldos, Storm-bringer.
