Description
You find yourself looking upon a pretty elven maiden. Her skin is slightly
tan and a little rough giving off a good indication of someone who
spends a lot of time outdoors. Her blonde hair is straight, falling midway
down her back with a waterfall style braid. Her eyes are a dazzling
sapphire blue color that gives away her friendly and cheery nature. Her
nose is sharp and her lips soft with a gentle red color to them. She
stands just over six feet in height and her body is lithe and atheletic.
A scar upon each wrist can be noticed.

I finally did it! I ran away from my life, my home, and escaped that
arranged marriage. I can at long last live my dream of seeing the world,
experiencing it, being my own person. I only worry that my mother will
be heart broken, but I could not stay under his reign any longer. It still
sickens me that everytime he looks at me, he wishes it was me that died
that day instead of Amethar. For Einoh's sake, he was my older brother
and he rescued me from drowning. It pains me still knowning he is gone
and it is my fault. To think, I tried to let go of it all, the pain, the despair,
the loathing of my father with those simple slits. Again I was rescued
this time by a priest of Einoh.
But I'm free, free to live! I hope one day, I can help someone as I have
been. Are the rumors true of dark souled folk meaning harm to others
blantly in the open? I even heard tales of Darasylon itself coming under
attack! I do hope I can be of help to those in need. I've got my bow and
know a little about wilderness herbs. But for now, lets hope today will
be a great day, and one of many more to come! Until next time Journal!

Information about Aynwinria
Added Mon Jun 15 13:59:59 2020 at level 15:
About the Character
Aynwinria Watercup comes from a noble elven family, and from an
abusive father. When she was a child she nearly drowned but her
brother Amethar saved her, only to succumb to exhaustion and the
powerful currents of the river, where he himself drowned. Ayn's father
blamed her, beginning a cycle of abuse and loathing.
Ayn's years were tough, and she too blamed herself for her brother's
tragic death. Her depression grow so bad, that upon her 75th birthday (a
special time for an elven girl), that at her "own" party she slit both of her
wrist so that she might not feel the pain in her soul. Luck be it that
among those her father invite to "her" party was a priest of Einoh who
was able to mend her wounds and save her from a mortal death.
He not only provided physical healing, but mental and spiritual healing,
helping Ayn grow past her own brother's death. Her father, not moved
by Ayn's second near death, began to seeing her married off to any
noble family, even a lesser house to just get her out of his sight. After a
few years of arrangement, Ayn was to be wed off, however Ayn escaped
her home, running from the tribulations of her past and present.
Her time with the priest gave way to her motivation, to help save others
who find themselves in a similar situation as her. Broken, hurt, either
physically, spiritually, or mentally, so that she might heal and mend
them as she had been. For now she is on the run and seeing the world,
but word of a Fortress of Scribes and Acolytes has reached her ears and
so she is seeking them out as a possible place to be a small ray of light.
Goals
Join the Fortress as a Scribe, eventually becoming an Acolyte. Her little
skill in herbs will hopefully allow her to mend physical injuries, and as
she grows, her own wisdom, kindness, and empathy will let her heal a
person's spirit and mental wounds.
She hopes to also find those who serve the god Einoh, who can help her
upon her path, to teach her how to be healer in all three aspects. To
help her understand darkness that can be mended to light.
Personality
Ayn is or seeks to be a good person. Her past struggles with her
depression and attempted suicide has motivated her to do good, to
make a difference, and will seek to help those in need. As someone who
has nearly died twice, she does not fear sacrificing herself if she can
save another, just as her brother did for her.
She still watches over her shoulder for her father, not knowing if he is
content to let her escape or still has a seed of vengance and control. This
makes her a little nervous around elven men because she isn't sure if
they work for her father or not, or if they are like her father.

I've found a home in the Fortress serving as a Scribe. I even met the
Elder Prophet and get this, he's a priest of Einoh! I've been doing what I
can to learn about what a Scribe and Acolyte truly stand for. I've also
been learning some minor means of healing and listening to the words
of the Elder Prophet.
I also met Lord Einoh! I visited his shrine and the two of us talked at the
shores of a beautiful lake. He has asked me to look deep inside me and
see what darkness might lie within. He said he himself has had evil in his
past and would share it with me. To understand one's self is the first
step towards being able to understand others, to be able to help them
and heal them. I've got a lot to learn still, but I'm still young for an elf, so
I have plenty of years to grow. Now to meditate on what is inside me.

I believed my evil was wanting to be needed. How that want could lead
to wicked deeds to put myself in spots where I could be needed. Lord
Einoh said his darkness was his vanity, vanity that often surrounds the
elven people when they look upon the other races. He pointed out that
there is greed in me, that I had amassed wealth instead of distrubuting
it out. Well that's been fixed. I saw that the money went to proper areas
that could see the money used, and used correctly.
I spent sometime giving food to those in need. Traveling from place to
place so they would not starve. I also talked to Lord Einoh about what I
did with the Bandit King. How I offered my life so that others would be
spared. It was a heart wenching discussion, and I still feel I did the right
thing but now better understand the impact of such a decision.
Though Journal, I bring sad news. My mentor, the Elder Prophet, has
retired from service and has disappeared. I believe he is still out there,
doing good, healing the needy, but no longer part of the grander
scheme of things in the world. I will miss him. I learned so much from
him and the Fortress Halls will feel empty for a time. I just hope I can be
as thoughtful and wise as he was. Oh and one last thing, I need to help
others see what darkness might lie in them so they can understand it
and face it, becoming even better people. I'll let you know how
everything works out. Until next time journal! Watercup signing off!
