Background

Bazir is one fucked up dude. He is the son of a drow female who was sold into
slavery and a male human who 'purchased' her. His father was a thief/pimp in
Dagdan and his mother was the daughter of a family of poisoners. His father
did as he pleased with his mother for years until she realized she had become
pregnant with Bazir. The day she found out, she poisoned his father, who fell
victim to a horrifying poison known as stonespiders milk. It turned his
father to stone, that appeared mummified with webs. None who saw the body had
any doubt who had done it. She fled to Arkham with Bazir where she finally
gave birth to him in a cave near Kiadanah-rah. She raised the boy for seven
months before Bazir's father's allies found his mother. They summarily
executed her for her poisoning of his father. Finding Bazir hiding in the
shadows, watching, they were unsure of what to do. As a final favor to his
father, they took him in and raised him.
When he was seven, he had learned some of the techniques of the Dagdan
thieves guild, and he had also learned that no one gave two shits about him.
He was as they say 'All by his lonesome'. This realization was like a blow
from an axe to the head. The cold truth of his existence, his creation, and
his reality hit him with the clarity of hatred for not only everyone else,
but of himself and his parents for even birthing him. Growing up as a child
in the thieves guild, manners and etiquette as well as speech were not things
Bazir put importance on. He is intelligent, yet talks like a child because he
has never reached the emotional maturity most of the lands do. However his
hatred for life in general has made his skill progression rapid as he spent
time devising ways to kill people. He prefers the cheap shot method because
it involves kicking someone while they are down, something he knows well.
At eleven years of age he became a full apprentice in the guild. Until the
day came when the three thieves who had killed his mother wound up with the
same, petrified and webbed mummy look that his father died with. The message
was not lost on the remainder of the guild, and while no punishment was
enacted, Bazir was told to seek his training elsewhere. It was then he
arrived in Udgaard, where he dwells to this day, seeking to inflict pain and
death on the rest of the world.
