Description
Before You is a woman standing just short of five feet.'
Her face has a tan and his skin is leathery and weather worn,
still she has a calmness over her face even though her eyes are
penetrating and icy blue. Her eyebrows looks burnt on the right
side and completely lacking on the left side. You can all so see
a weak zig zag scar starting at her right ear and running down her
neck under her clothes. Her figure is partly hidden by the cloak,
from what you can see she is strongly built.

Background
- "Berbell its time for your lunch." a lovely voice hollers up the stairs.
Putting down the magnifying glass and giving a sigh Berbell straitens out her
dress and puts the insects back into the jar. She checks that everything is
in order before going down the stairs of the big mansion to have lunch with
her mother as her father is in town on business. As lunch is finished she
heads back up as soon as she can, and goes back to what she was doing.
Pulling out the magnifying glass again she starts trying to direct the
sunbeam so that it becomes strong enough to burn the flies she holds down
with a pare of tweezers.
As Berbell grows older, being the only child, she is taught how to fence and
use daggers as all nobles should be able to defend themselves. Even though
this is frown upon by her mother, but her father says that if she can not
bring him a boy he will at least learn the child he has gotten the arts he
was taught as a child. She also began her reading with the house priest. It
wasn't before long that Berbell started spending more and more time in the
house library, reading everything she could about runes, and magic artefacts
and about the powerful words that exists. As magic was frowned capon in the
family she did her studies under the cover of being interested in the arts of
writing. But up in her room she tried the words she had read and was
astonished with what she could do.
After a couple of months she began experimenting with the magic of presenting
a fire ball. Ever since she saw a person breath fire she wanted to be able to
do fire magic. But after concentrating hard she doesnt manage it that
night. A week later she still haven't been able to produce any warmth. This;role + day she didn't give up and finally after long hard concentration a flame
shoot up, though the flame started just next to the drapes and it didn't take
long for it to spread. Trying to put it out Berbell gets a nasty burn, and
the frame of a painting falls down making a nasty scar on her neck.
When her mother finds out the next day she is appalled and starts cursing at
her for trying to use the filthy magic. Saying it is nothing for nobles to
do. The arguing goes so far that her mother renounces her and throws her out
of the house.
After some searching, Berbell finds a guild that covers her will for learning
magic, but still gives her an edge over the other students as she has been
well taught in how to use a weapon. And the desire to kill is valued highly.
She puts her name on the list and signs in at the Hamsah guild of dark
knights.

Dear father,
Thank you for the gold you sent, it helped me with the introduction fee and I
have been able to get myself a decent room, not having to put up in the
barracks with the other new joiners. I was chocked of Derons death that one
can be that unlucky, struck by lightning of all things. But then one wonders
what he was doing in them quarters since there is only an whore houses around
that part. I hope you business is blooming and that all is well with you and
mother.
Much love
Berbell.

It went well, the power of the deafen spell was stronger then I though. As I
had blinded and deafen Deron I took him to the dungeons below. Should the
deafen spell not be strong enough no one should be able to hear him down
there anyway. And as I slashed his face with a dagger he opened his mouth but
no sound came out. I use my magic to poison him but he didnt scream. To
cover up my tracks I took him to the dodgy end of town and trusted a
lightning bolt at him. Granting him the pleasure of dying before my hand.

Dear Father,
Your gift to the guild was much appreciated and the Habtran libray is adding
new volumes. I myself has passed the halfway grading
and am now considered a elder member of the guild. Many also look
fondly upon me as they have all'heard of the donation. My training
goes well and I am currently investigating a gathering of mages
calling them self Scion. It seems that only the elite where allowed
entrance to this club and their knowledge seems massive. I have gotten
hold of some volumes here in the guild and the library in Hamsah, but
could you ask Erasin if he can have a look through the books at home
and if he finds anything send them to me. Give mother my love (should
she want it).
Yours
Berbell

I have finally found a place worthy of my name. The Scions seems to be just
the kind of people I would like to join. And from what the guild of
thief's says currently they are stumbling around with out a leader.
Maybe it is time that I contact them and give them a guiding hand. I
shall gain some more titles then I'll contact them and see if I can't
find a way into the leading position. Their bartering with the
shadows seems to be interesting magic and might help me teach more the
lesion of death. I shall try and find out more about them.

My powers are growing and the members of the Fold took me in, as I knew the
would. But the Advisor doesn't seem to be impressed. Should he keep on
bugging me something will have to be done. At least I have found some items
to despoil and I start to understand the magic of how to bring forth the
shadows. I most advance some more so that the books for stronger magics opens
for me.
I do not know what the Chancellor hope to find in the Tower of Silence but I
will not be of much use to her unless I advance some in my guild. I do think
that it is a wild goose chaise or even that she is using us for her own
benefits, not having the goal of the Chasm first in mind. I believe my quest
for the Jagad will prove to be more fruitful.
Death

Many of the people she have killed have come back to hunt her, weapons sharp
and anger so strong it concurred the fear with in them. The gods of Thera
have returned them to the living and there by denying them from the
experience of final rest.
Taking a piece of their soul seems not to be enough. She most learn how to
make them perish or forever fear her. Too many times has she been struck down
when occupied with other things. This most now come to an end shall she ever
be able to bring fear into her opponents.
Though she has yet to meet the Hornet one. She still hopes that one day Lord
Khasotholas shall enliven her with his presence. Why shouldn't he. Everyone
knows that gods likes strong followers. And with the name of hers who would
he be to deny her his blessing?
