Description
A short human male is here, his skin the color of sundried clay. His ochre
hair flows wildly about his head, drooping to partially cover his moon grey
eyes and hawkish, hooked nose. His cheekbones and jawline seem roughly hewn
from the raw wood of his face, and his rude, thin mouth is filled with large,
ivory teeth. Woven through his coppery beard are all manner of feathers,
small bones, and other trinkets of the forest. His hands, though small, are
rough and covered with dark earth.

A blood thirsty tribe of marauders and warriors, the Naktu of the Ma'rin
worship Joheem, the Wolf. Bjai was a young apprentice to the Shaman of the
Naktu when the first merchant caravan from Seantryn Modan came over the
mountains. They brought with them modern smithwork, and modern magic. As the
main village elder, Bjai's mentor parlayed with these people, and in response
to the obvious threat throleey posed to the Naktu way of life, had them
slain. Deeming his pupil ready to begin his shamanic path, he sent Bjai west
to learn of these forgeiners with their metal and magic, and if he could to
make war on them in the name of Joheem.

Some notes on Bjai's current motivations. He seeks two main things now. To
bring the proper respect for Joheem to the west, and to perhaps lead the aktu
over the jade mountains to make war on the people in the west. He feels that
a Ma-rin warparty would be able to bring the cities to their knees, and that
the way westerners live is antithetical to the precepts of Joheem.
