Description

This menacingly comical man has an outlandish appearance. Reaching roughly six and a half feet in height, he has a tall stature which is only accentuated by his cadaverous body and meager limbs that run inexpertly between gnarled joints. His appearance is altogether awkward and abrupt. Patchwork leathers expose anhydrous skin, tinged with yellow and marred in places by fibrous scar tissue. A disproportionately large head is substantially covered by an expansive cloak tied at the front with a length of string and held by long, bony fingers tipped with cuspate fingernails.

Role

The Origin

Added Fri Jul 15 17:52:15 2005 at level 2:
The youngest of a well-to-do family Boilard was the odd one. Impossible to
keep track of and always on the move Boilard was the amusement of his family.
Learning all he could about this and that before moving on. He was obviously
intelligent, but his learning was aided by his unbreakable devotion to
whatever held his interest at the time.

They're Coming.

Added Fri Jul 15 17:53:46 2005 at level 2:
Missing for nearly a weeks time, Boilard's mother and servants finally
tracked
him down to a small, poorly lit bookstore on a less than welcoming side of
town.

'Boilard, Boilard!'

'Yes, mother?'

'You've been here all this time?, Come we must go home.'

'Oh no, there is no time, do you not know?'

'Boilard we have no time for your nonsense. People, they watch do not make a
scene.'

'You do not hear them? They make haste, they are near and I must be there
first...they are coming'

And with that, Boilard gathered his books and ran off into the night.

Delays, delays.

Added Tue Aug 16 17:10:05 2005 at level 40:
Much time has passed since Boilard has sought entrance to the Fold.
Chancellors have been spoken to, advisors have been talked with, even the Lady
Muse has granted him audience.

Progress is beginning to be made, Boilard still feels the nightwalkers
closing in on him, more quickly now. He has taken to leaving corpses for them
as they consume those who fall, the weak, it gives Boilard more time
to enter the pact.

A clearer connection.

Added Tue Aug 30 18:14:24 2005 at level 49:
Boilard's mental wanderings and focusing on the unseen has caused
much distraction in his life. However, upon gaining the pact
he has made as the Chancellor called it a
"clearer connection" allowing him to focus more, and
show his intelligence.
