Description

A tall slender figure stands here. He has gray hair, although it seems to be a natural color and not one of age. His ears are too pointed to be human, but are more rounded than that of his purer-bred cousins, marking him as a half-breed. His skin gray, with an unhealthy pallor to it and it his lanky frame and lack of muscle shows that he has little martial confidence. He is garbed carefully in the hooded robes of the arcane that cover a mismatched collection of armors, clothing and treasures, although modest rings and bracelets adorn his person. He moves with a certain confidence and the magical implements that hang out of his robe pockets mark him as one of the magical arts.

A Short Summary of an Aspiring Veil Render

Enclosed is a copy of an introduction Bozphun sent to the Chasm as a 
pledge.

Scions,

I am Bozphun Fintrax. I'm a shapemagus, with a deep desire to fine tune
my understanding of True Magic. I seek to study alongside, revealing the
secrets of the Shadow Plane's forces to further my own interests- rending
the Veil in its entirety

I come from the Oryx Steppes, and grew up with the nomads there. But
their life of harmony and complacence is not one I find particularly
enlightening. I believe there is much more to Thera than sitting in the
sand and being content in one's small world. I would use my magic to
uncover further, ever more potent magicks from the Shadow Plane.

Know that I am pledged and dedicated to this cause.

Put simply, Bozphun does not crave the mundane and growing up in the 
Steppes foreshadowed a mundane life.

He is loud and proud about his magical ambitions. He does not operate in 
the shadows. He marches proudly as he seeks to wield 'forsaken' knowledge 
to harness True Magic and rend the veil itself and thus, the Shadow 
Plane. Bozphun believes that by ripping the veil and unleashing the 
Shadow Plane upon Thera, he magicians will have access to magic never 
before seen. He is not subtle or hidden in his desires. He seeks to 
uncover magical secrets and use them to rend the Veil as much as 
possible. To this end, he seeks Zizaerix, although is unsure how the 
gnomish Immortal feels about the Scions.

If Zizaerix will have him, then great. If not, then Bozphun's aims do not 
change. Magic is his top priority, and thus he has been drawn to the 
strongest magi enclave.

Bozphun's Continued Journey

Bozphun has continued on his journey. He made a conscious decision to 
keep whatever forms he learned in his guild after a small discussion with 
Sumae, convinced that it is the mage, not the magic, from which the 
strength denotes. Furthermore he met with Zizaerix.

The gnomish deity has skepticism regarding Bozphun but they had a candid, 
honest meeting. Zizaerix gave Bozphun a task. To speak to Sumae and to 
guarantee that he was allowed to publish his research on destroying the 
veil. Sumae agreed to such, without any reservations.

This means that Bozphun seeks to further his path with Zizaerix, although 
as he told Zizaerix he is content in his path and if his choices, such a 
being a Scion- which he views are the best for his goal of destroying the 
veil- are incompatible with the Order, then so be it.

Bopzhun finds himself at odds often with most of Thera, but this doesn't 
bother him and he doesn't pay it much mind. He considers that par for the 
course of being a Scion. He enjoys the bloodshed, as he feels it makes 
him a stronger mage and that is paramount to his goal of destroying the 
veil. As such he leans into the bloody life, picking fights often and 
proactively with those who are against the dark mechanations of the 
Chasm.

With Sumae's passing, Bozphun has considered trying to set himself apart 
as a leader in the Fold, to that end he endeavors to make sure he 
retrieves and strikes whenever he may. He is proud of his accomplishments 
and bears the scars of a life lived, as he is no stranger to death. 
Either giving or receiving fatal blows.

Striving Forward

Bozphun continues in his efforts within the Fold. He still desires to lead
the Fold and despite the fact that his constitution is dwindling some he
feels he is more than capable. He is proud of the energy he puts into Thera
and the accomplishments he makes in strengthening the Chasm and keeping the
enemies to heel.

In particular, he has enjoyed connecting with a younger magi of Zizaerix and
potentially the fold, Takoa. They spoke at length about the Chasm and what it
means relating to Zizaerix's faith. Bozphun has not spoken to Lord Zizaerix
in some time, but it heartened him to know that the Lord had spoken of
Bozphun to Takoa. His task remains the same- take on the mantle of leadership
within the Fold so that he can ensure an era of transparency and progress
within the Chasm. 

In this way, Bozphun hopes to make the Chasm more accessible to eager young 
magi of worth and to Lord Zizaerix's Order, thus impressing his Lord. This 
will in turn further their goals of destroying the veil and unleashing the 
shadow plane's magic upon Thera.
