Description
Before you is a gorgeous dwarf, standing at around five feet in height. Long
flowing brown hair ripples down her slender neck, and a pair of bright blue
eyes twinkle at you happily above a smooth face. Below a short pretty nose is
a small beautiful cherry red mouth that reveals a set of perfect teeth when
she smiles. Her body exudes a gracefulness that defies her short stature, and
a perfect slender body curves with perfect hips, and a large chest that is
even better. Wrapped up in her flowing hair is a coral comb which she seems
to be quite fond of, and you notice a large shining golden band on her finger
adorned with precious pearls.
Over all, you see that

Uh oh Omen

The sounds of loud singing and belching reverberated through Akan as a
traditional celebration was taking place for the birth of a fine dwarven son,
the continuation of Olgrahm FlameBeard's bloodline. The ritual of the
birth-hammer had great significance in the FameBeard clan, in which they
would place a small iron mace before the newborn. If it grabbed for the stiff
weapon and was able to heave it, greatness in masculinity and combat was said
to be in its blood. The baby, given the name Brahm by its proud father was
plopped in front of the hammer. Everyone held their breath as they waited for
this all-important moment.
The baby's eye caught the gleam of the shiny mallet. Longing shone in its
freshly opened blue eyes as a small stubby hand reached for the leather
pommel. The chubby tips of his fingers almost... touching...
Suddenly a loud splintering sound followed by a thunderous crashing erupted
through the room as a small group of starved savage orcs burst into the large
inn, yowling in fury and foaming at the mouth. Immediately the dwarves leapt
to their feet with a roar and used their weapons, always on their hips, to
fight off the crazed green skins. Blood flew and limbs fell as the orcs were
slaughtered easily by the anger of the interrupted dwarves. Pleased with
themselves they turned to look at baby Brahm and everyone gasped in horror,
for clutched in its little hands was not the birth-hammer... but a small blue
flower that was wedged in the butt-crack of a nearby dead orc.
All wondered what this sign could mean? What would the choosing of a flower
signify in Brahm's future?
Head bump

After several years the evil omen of the flower was quickly gone from their
minds as Brahm grew to massive size and build. He quickly grew in skill at
the forge beyond that of most full grown men, and was able to wrestle down
the fattest of dwarven drunkards. Brahm's parents were oh so happy indeed.
It just so happened that one fateful day, Brahm decided to go smacking around
orcs who wandered too far from their village, as was one of his many hobbies.
However, cockiness overtook him this day and instead of letting the wounded
savages run back to the safety on their black gates alone, he dared to give
chase.. all but one had already taken refuge in the mud surrounding the
grinning skulls, but one he was able to pounce on before it could reach
safety. Under the long shadow of the gates they wrestled on the ground,
rolling around in filth and mud until the orc breathed his last breath. Brahm
snorted and stood up to admire his handiwork when suddenly, out of his sight,
two goblins heaved a massive anvil onto his head from atop the palisade.
Light faded from his vision, and his motionless body rolled down the hill
into the feet of two dwarven patrollers.
Transvestite?

The trauma to Brahm's head was severe, and the healers were unsure if he
would survive, lying lifelessly on a hard stone bed. Hours became days.. days
became weeks.. when finally he opened his eyes. Everyone was of course very
joyful, but something wasn't quite right.. he began acting very, very
strange. His skills in fighting were all but gone, his love for the forge was
dead in what he called "a gruesome display". He spent most his time sitting
in the fields admiring the surrounding trees and flowers. Most of all
however, and extremely alarming to everyone was his newfound love for the
long dwarven dresses, and effeminate things which even a dwarven woman would
wrinkle her nose at.
After about a year of it getting progressively worse (and weirder), Brahm's
parents decided to ship him off to the academy to hopefully straighten him
out. This proved to be unwise.
You see, to outsiders the differences of the dwarven sexes might not be too
apparent, so when Brahm, in his longing to unleash his 'inner woman' (for
this is what he decided he truly was) saw the delicately robed woman of
Thera, he began to strive to be as beautiful as them.
Yup, Transvestite.

Due to a cranial accident, Brahm is convinced that he is indeed, a woman. As
such, he wears heavy make-up as the Theran woman wear (perhaps to a different
effect) and wants everyone to see him a woman. The result is rather strange.
Brahm has also developed a love for nature, and has thrown away his heritage
of forming metals and rock, though he still despises orcs as ugly and stinky,
and "rude".
In the mindset that everyone should be accepting other people, he wishes to
spread healing and love to everyone through the Lady Rayihn, whom he has
adopted as his deity on account of idolizing her along with other Galadonian
women.
Society is bleh.

Ever since Brahm was thrown from his family and friends for his strange
attraction to female attire and his conviction that he was somehow a woman,
Brahm is convinced that to show true love, one must be accepting of all
peoples, and respect their quirks and ideals, however strange. It is this
desire that no person should feel pressure to change their actions based off
of others' ideals, that has began to put Brahm with an uneasy feeling with
the Spire. Although desiring health and good fortune for all, a talk with
Xupreth revealed the frightening nature of the blood tribunal. The power of
the authority of the spire over the cities surprised Brahm, that whole
populations were forced to submit to a higher law regardless of their
feelings. Brahm began to feel at odds towards society in general, as it makes
its own morals based off social constructs, judging others as he had been
judged.
Healing Beauty

After Brahm's long awaited meeting with his Lady Rayihn, and a slightly
intimidating meeting with the elf Iklahn, Brahm was pleased to find himself a
priestess of Rayihn! The loving goddess then tasked Brahm to heal someone
with true love.. but without her blessings.
Brahm pondered this for a while and wondered what this could mean. If she did
not mean healing in the physical sense, that she must have meant on a deeper
emotional, or even spiritual scale. The question remained, what could Brahm
do to spiritually heal someone without the aid of his goddess?
To answer this, Brahm looked into his past to when he had been tossed from
his home. Of course he was greatly grieved, but he was able to heal himself
of the past by focusing on that one powerful thing in the world, that most
creatures were affected by... beauty! Brahm knew that knowledge of beauty was
given to most people. For instance, you don't need someone to tell you when
seeing a sunset on a sandy beach, or high misty mountains, that that thing is
beautiful. It is common, and obvious knowledge. The same occurs with the
beauty of music and the arts! Brahm knew the way beauty can wash away
depression and anger, making it seem meaningless and trivial.
Brahm knew this, as the depression after exile from his home was cured by
focusing on the beauty of the surrounding world, and of course, the
conviction that he himself was truly a beautiful woman. He knew that society
does not dictate what is beautiful.. nothing can change true beauty, and this
is truly the love that Brahm wishes to spread to all of Thera. All of social
standards of civilization needed to be discouraged, and the growth of true
natural beauty should be nurtured and healed.
In his travels, Brahm had the wonderful opportunity to meet a strange dwarf,
Tholos. Tholos requested to Brahm that he not use his Lady's blessings on
him, as he thought that he might seek a hut one day. Brahm saw deep turmoil
within him, and offered to heal his decision making process with a sight of
pure beauty. Tholos agreed, and Brahm removed his tunic revealing his hairy
chest. Tholos thought it was quite the life-changing scene, and accepted
Brahm's blessings, and even spoke of tending to the inn of the eternal star.
Beauty really does heal.
Mental issues, and Spirits!
Added Sat Jan 5 21:33:02 2013 at level 45:
Due to the falling rock on his head in his youth, Brahm has somehow developed
very good hearing which has enabled him to hear the mere whispers of others.
Due to this, he was able to start a mind reading trick that was impressive to
give him a new home in the inn with his fiance Tholos. Brahm did the natural
thing, and decided to expand his mind reading fun by pretending to read
fortunes. "I'll just lay out my hand on their heads in a blessing" he
thought, "and a second later come up with a fortune!" Little did Brahm know..
that he was actually inviting, by his actions, the spirits of the long lost
into his body, even if the fortune telling was all a trick.
The spirits, in combination with his mental issues, have causes severe
amnesia at random moments, and whenever he allows the spirits in, he has no
memory of it. He assumes the wild stories of spinning groinbeards and giant
squids are just his audience using his imagination. Everyday new issues with
suddenly blacking out, and going into fits of staring at nothing while
drooling becomes more common. Brahm now gets severe headaches all the time,
and the spirits, sensing his weakness, have begun to take over everytime she
summons them for a fortune telling.
No longer Transvesite, and Mind Healed
Added Sat Jan 12 22:34:16 2013 at level 45:
After Brahm's (awesome) wedding to Tholos, the goddess Rayihn gave to Brahm
as a wedding gift, the option to become an actual woman (though she worded it
better to Brahm). Brahm accepted after being told about the boobs he would
grow, and the changes were much more than he ever anticipated. While Brahm's
entire body changed dramatically, so also did her head. Still the same person
at heart, the damage that was caused to her head at the very beginning was
now healed, causing him (now her) to see the world in a normal light, as well
as curing her headaches and short term memory loss. She is now aware of the
power she holds by summoning the spirits, and is attempting to learn to
control them, as they no longer hold power over her and her strong(er) mind.
As well as mental changes, she of course had physical changes that have
allowed her much more grace and beauty, and even a more lady-like speech
pattern has been granted to her.
