Description

A diminutive gnome stands here. Bristled hair rises abruptly from what actually appears to be a bald head, the hair so thin and sparse. His skin is a pale gray and ashen hue. Though youthful in appearance, his forehead gives way to sharp creases usually associated with the aged. His eyes are hazel, and betray little of his emotion. They are flanked on each size by more wrinkles, giving not he appearance of one who smiles constantly, but the appearance of one constantly scowled, in deep reflection. His nose is bulbous, a common trait of his kind. His lips are thin, and slightly darker in color than the rest of his skin. The tiniest of hands protrude from his silk robe, and seem to accentuate his diminutive stature.

Role

the Council of the Three

Added Sun Mar 28 13:01:52 2004 at level 1:
There comes a time when war must decide the fate of man, elf, dwarf,
and giantkin alike. For centuries, on the eve of battle, the leaders
of these factions would call forth their most trusted advisors. This
advice often granted one faction a decided advantage over the other,
leading to victory. Leaders knew, when they wanted the best possible
guidance, it is rumored they called upon the Council of the Three. The
wisest and most sought after advisors, the Council of the Three (Cuno'
thre, as they were called by the elves) consisted of three families.
Each headed by a patriarch, the eldest and wisest of his clan. When
commissioned with the review or the conception a battleplan, it's said
the three patriarchs would meet in secret and first decide if the plan
even needed their combined knowledge. Many times, plans were so
simplistic, or the solution so evident, only a limited amount of
reasoning was needed to obtain a result. Plans which required the
utmost attention of the details were brought before the Nine. The Nine
consisted of the patriarch and two of his sons and/or daughters. Each
family represented a way of reasoning within the hallmarks of battle.
Each member of a family was expected to adhere to the training of
their kin. The Breuolte clan were warriors of noble heart. The
Vryldiuryt clan were adept practitioners of magic. And the Plixudruol
clan were harbingers of faith.

Bredrilin is a fourth son of Bredialtix Plixudruol, Advisor Adept to
the patriarch of the Plixudruol Clan. It stands to reason, gnomes
garner their wisdom from ages of experience. However, each gnome
offspring, while profound in his ability to discern wise from unwise,
is no more learned than a shale stone. Each must therefore undergo a
life of experiences before they can be considered for appointment to
the Nine, and eventually, the Council of the Three.

To this end, Bredrilin has left his home and set forth to seek his
adventure, so he may one day be wise enough to head his family line,
and take his rightful place on the Cuno'thre. Only by walking a pure
path, and lending a mind of reason to those in need, will he
accomplish his goals.
