Description
A nearly ten foot tall, ebony skinned figure stands here towering
over his surroundings. As you look at him closer, you realize
that this figure's skin is not only black as the night sky but
also covered in dirt and grime. Fiery, reddish tinged brown eyes
peer out from under fiery red eyebrows that match the long and
very unkempt red hair that flows from the top of his head. A
scraggly beard hangs from his chin and lip as well. Where you
can see his skin under his armor, you notice whitish colored
scars that contrast highly against the dark skin. As you look
closer upon him, you see he wears...

Slavery with a hint of Daisies

"Bring me the opal wand from the corner over there."
"Bring me that tome off the table."
"Bring me that giant cauldron on the side. Do not slosh any."
Bring, bring, bring. That is all the giant who is now named Breeng heard for
the entirety of the beginning of his life. Bringing things was the life of
the young giant, and he heard that word so often that he began to believe it
was his name. Breeng spent so much time bringing the Wizard who commanded him
to bring things to him that he began to truly love to bring things, but he
never realized what he was giving up by doing as commanded day in and day
out.
While Breeng was not being used during the long days of his life, he was
normally found outside the Wizard's tower where he tended a small flower
garden.Breeng had found the seeds in the Wizard's items in the tower,
hidden behind a shelf and seemingly forgotten. Finding these seeds, he went
out of the tower and planted them, tending them and making sure they grew
strong. The Wizard rarely left the tower, so he never seemed to realize what
Breeng did outside. This was partially due to the fact that the Wizard did
not allow Breeng to live in the tower and beyond having him bring him things,
the Wizard was disgusted by the giant.
Do Not Step on the Flowers

The day came when the Wizard yelled for the giant to bring
him the seeds that Breeng had found. When Breeng took him
other seeds, the Wizard was angered even further with his
disgust and hatred blazing at the young giant. He began
to whip the giant with ethereal tendrils of magic leaving
thick marks of skin that seemed to draw the life out of
them leaving them pale against the giant's ebony skin.
While Breeng was being tortured by the Wizard, he admitted
that he found the seeds quite a long time ago and that
he planted them outside.
When the Wizard heard these words, he became even more
enraged and used magic to bring the giant outside with him.
Yelling that the seeds were ruined planted in the ground,
the Wizard created a giant ball of fire and destroyed the
fruits of Breeng's labor and passion in one wave of his
hand. Angered beyond anything that the giant had ever
felt before, he seized the moment of distraction in the
Wizard's magic and rushed forward, grabbing the Wizard
by his neck in one single hand and crushing down until
Wizard's life left his body.
Flowers and Freedom

Breeng realized at this time that the Wizard had only been
using him over the course of his life as a slave and made
the choice to not ever be used in such a way again. He
would live free using his anger and strength to protect
the only thing he cared for, the many flowers that he
could plant and find. Being that these simple plants are
things that were originally brought from Thar-Eris, it is
only natural that this discovery and the flowers themselves
would bring him to the Tree.
A Svirfnebli in the Mind's Eye

Breeng does not realize it, but only part of his anger was
what allowed him to break free of his magical bonds. He
has no recollection of it, but just before he broke free
as he was so angry after seeing the destruction of the one
thing he loved, he saw a small figure appear in his vision
that seemed to give him courage and the wisdom to know it
was the time to strike. Eventually, even Breeng will most
likely remember this and seek that figure out.
The Daisy
Added Fri Jul 13 11:08:02 2018 at level 31:
Other fire giants look at Breeng as a bit of an idiot. It
is not very surprising that this is the case due to the
care Breeng shows for his flowers and how he almost always
has one on his person or hidden in the deserts he calls
home in a stash under the sands. They began calling Breeng
"the Daisy", which with a warrior race like the fire giants
giving him that name, one can understand the extreme amount
of insult that it carries. Yet, when Breeng heard it, he
embraced it so that he would always be known as Breeng Daisy.
