Description

A brawn man stands before in heavy plate-mail armor that is polished and shimmers, almost as bright as his hair. Golden wavy blonde hair reaches to his strong jaw line. A full glorious golden beard and mustache blends with with his hair. Intense blue eyes gaze out into the world that is inspiring with his broad smile. He is garnished in gold and silver necklaces and rings that have fine gems and diamonds imbedded within. On his neck he has an amulet, representing a blazing spear, made of gold as well. Though he is engorged with what seems like wealth, he does not seem to linger on such a notion in treatment with others. He holds a shield in his offhand, and a sword that seems to glow with a divine blessing. On his hip is a rather small satchel that seems to be lightly filled with coin which seems odd when

Role

A renewal of spirit, the love for the light

Added Tue Sep 10 15:33:33 2019 at level 15:
I am Bronswor Goldenmane, A holy knight from many generations past.
My family has become accomplished at thwarting the wicked in the lands, having
many descendent's become Maran from the fortress. By the name of Korsgaard, strength
and courage guided them to many honorable accomplishments. In a sense, the family had
become rather wealthy with such accomplishments, even if it was not a direct approach, though
defeating ancient dragons, raiding the empire of it's coffers, and many more triumphs,
coin was easy to come by. My family's history was filled with charity, hope, and joy for
the masses who sought peaceful and fulfilling lives in the light.

Growing up, anyone could see the deeds that my father, and grandfather had
accomplished, but from the stories, and what I saw were different.
Yes, they would still defend, and help those in need, but it seemed as if the
coin was influencing them a bit more. Giving less, while earning more
and perhaps tending to their own wants and needs more often than living up to their
duty as a holy knight of Korsgaard. My families reputation tended to
dwindle though, that wasn't a large concern of mine personally, as I sought to aid who
I could.

As was mentioned before, my Father and his father and so on, had a long line of
squire and maranship within the Fortress, this is why it was quite a controversy when
When I said I wished to join the Fortress as a scribe, That I wanted to focus on
Charity, and giving hope and faith to the people who could not defend themselves from
the wicked people of Thera. From Tyranny, slavery, even from drought and hunger. I sought
to call upon lord Korsgaard through my divine power to do what I can to give to the people
and show them courage doesn't always have to be from the soldiers on the front line, but
can also be from the men and women who stand to protect and guide those soldiers, as they fend off
the corruption of evil, so that the soldiers mind do not turn to wicked.
They laughed and scoffed me, but I didn't care and this is my courage to do what I feel
calls me in my life.

Besides, I feel like there is a sense of renewal needed so that they themselves do not become
tainted in coin and bloodshed. I feel I must do something to help with that.

A journal entry for the new path

Added Fri Sep 13 17:17:52 2019 at level 51:
I became a paladin because it was what my family did, I follow
Lord Korsgaard, because it is what my family does. But unlike them
I followed the path of a scribe, to tend to the hearts and wellbeing of my
fellow Therans. I did not expect the pain to be so overwhelming seeing the loss
and death, and hate about the world. Yet, I still try to focus on the
teachings of Cardinal Pohdtid, the open palm.

Before learning all of this though, I did get to meet with lord Korsgaard,
and it was as spectacular and even more so than I had thought. Even though it was
what my family did, and does now, I felt it right for me to follow my on path and attempt
to achieve the title of pathfinder under his banner.

He made me realize something in me, when he answered my prayers and
came to speak with me, that my courage in my choice was something real.
I felt relieved with those words, that even though I was looked down on
for such a decision, Lord Korsgaard reassured me it was a difficult and
courageous one.

Scribbles into a journal, the path continues

Added Mon Sep 16 21:38:21 2019 at level 51:
The first task in the way of the pathfinder, truly a difficult thing to find
items to symbolize how I feel in relation to strength, honor, and courage.
I felt what I chose had much meaning to me. though putting items to such virtues
can seem shallow, but I did speak from the heart. After I spilt my heart as
appropriately as I could, he saw into my heart my desire to aid and bring
charity to the people of Thera, to be a shining example as the Goldenmane once were.
I cherish his divine gifts whole heartily and will bring forth the divine powers
of my guild to the masses as best I can.

I was tasked with the second task of the pathfinder, and that amongst it self has been
a glorious adventure of triumph, either facing the beasts alike alone, or bringing companions
and leading them forth into victory. That is a glorious feeling bringing good to
the people, slaying wicked terroizing dragons, or underwater beast causing the
deaths of children due to attacking a ship and pilfering it to hoard shiny treasure.
Many of dangers lie in wait, in a cave, underwater, in the desert, but even so bringing
triumph over them even in the most desolate of places, it brings warmth to my heart. I think
about that storm giant particularly in regards to the serpent in despair. Even to go as
far as disguising themselves, only to hoard trinkets. None the less, I hope I did
at least some good in the world, and the beast I was sent out to best, have been bested.

I imagine I will set forth on my next journey, the Third path. I believe it will be
trying to say the least, but I will bring forth my best effort to do what good I can in this
broken world, where darkness clouds the minds of men, and evil runs rampant, I will be
lord Korsgaard's shield in protecting Thera's people.

A long and fulfilling journey, the path of kings near it's end

Added Sat Sep 28 13:46:20 2019 at level 51:
My lore has prepared me well for this but the battles have been quite fierce.
The Kuo-Toa king and his priestess casting bolts of lightning amplified in the water,
the Empress and her well trained knight. The fiery depths of the Volcano's king.
and even the High lord were all fierce, but even their Tyranny didn't seem
as bad as the king of the duergars. Infiltrating Aran-Gird, making it passed
them, tricking them as we wore slave robes, Gruntner, Pohdtid and myself. A paranoid king
he was, leaving a secret passage for us to make it quickly to him. Just had to best a few
assassins, but that was nothing in comparrison to the king, his head archmage and
the well trained guards.

The Fight, was a tricky one. We had to trick the guards into chasing us, then dispatched
of them, then we made our effort towards the king and his mage. His archmage fell quite
swiftly, but the king, that duergar was as tough as a dwarven forge. He swung his axe
fiercely, cleaving through my weapon at one point, it's acidic slice felt horrible to
the skin. Gruntner took the front, and he fought valiantly. As the fought was wearing down
the duergar king, we were still in fine shape though his axe at times struck fierce and precise,
The archmage through some dark magic returned to the battle. Foul sorcery was
being slung around, fire, ice, earth magic, whatever he could throw. But then it happened,
the king fell over, a scowl on his face and a grunt of pain as he toppled over. The mage fought and flailed
but in the end, his dark magic was no match for us three. Lord Korsgaard be proud, we took
that duergar king down to end his tyrannical reign.

I feel it was a good thing, his reach stretched far amongst the world, even from the underdark
this cruel man was assaulting places like Darsalyn, Mortorn, even as far to reach of Galadon, while
funding his ways with slavery and cruelty, even enslaving some of his own kind. A great services I feel
I've done, but there will successors sadly who try to rule with such an iron fist. Like the Empire,
who employ the tactics of some of the magistrates, yet those poor magistrates think they
are allies, yet if the Empire wished, they'd wage war against the Tribunal as well, only a convenience to
hold a treaty with them for now.
