Description

A slender, wiry orc stands here, hulking and looming over his surroundings. Guttereal sounds come from his throat and a pair of beady black eyes peer out malevolently around him. He has stringy, greasy hair which hangs down in strands and matted ringlets to his shoulder. He is strangely skinny and tall for an orc, giving him a skeletal, sickly appearance. However, bands of muscle wrap around under the sick pallor of his skin proving that the unholy strength of orckind did not skip this individual. His armor is in ill repair and strapped to his body haphazardly. Furthermore, an assorted collection of equally mistreated weapons hangs about his person. His hands clench the air and the hilts of the weapons as he stalks along his way.

Bruzglot Bloodbrew

Bruzglot started off an ordinary orc. He was not the stout variety. He 
was wiry. But he was not a coward like so many who adapt to a Skrugga way 
of life.

Instead he found interest in the occult. In the strange rituals and 
sickly sweet smoke that came from Tremblefist's quarters. That, he knew, 
was how he'd set himself apart. And so he dedicated himself to the 
berserking, raiding life of the Orcs. It wasn't long before Tremblefist 
adapted him into the Mundunugus and he began to study the blood magic and 
shadowy paths of these secretive orcs. This was indeed how he would set 
himself apart from the rest of the clan. Every orc has a big weapon, is 
cowardly, an fights with a near-demonic rage. But Bruzglot is one of the 
few that does things other orcs simply can't. Blood magic. Fetishes. 
Things that aren't easily explained.

More than anything, Bruzglot does what he wants. He is selfish. Greedy. 
He takes all that he can, he destroys what he feels like. He is 
capricious with few loyal ties. And this has served him well, as he has 
continued to grow in strength and dedication. For him, greed is not just 
the trinkets (Although he does covet gold and shiny things, viewing them 
as symbols of power). Greed is also ambition. Taking things. Taking 
power. Taking items of power.

And so, he has begun taking Cabal's items of power when he can and when 
is convenient. Bruzglot does not, nor ever has, cared much for the 
'rules' of Thera, be it natural law, Tribunal law, Imperial law or 
anything else. He doesn't think about them much. They get in the way of 
doing what he wants, where he wants. They get in the way of taking what 
he wants when he wants to. Furthermore, taking items of power for 
Tremblefist's throne is another display of strength and status symbol 
amongst the Skulls.

Bruzglot took the name Bloodbrew as he became a more capable orc, as he 
rose to becoming the pillaging Warlord he is today. It was simple, he 
wanted his name to identify him as one of the special Mundunugus. So that 
other orcs would know he was different. And he wanted to be known 
throughout Thera as one of the select orcs who dabbles in magic. He is 
proud of this, and shows off his rudimentary skills when he can. A 
particular moment of pride came to him giving Zizaerix one of the potions 
he made from Eldrin's brains.

However, a pivotal moment in Bruzglot's life came just before he became a 
Warlord in the Grinning Skulls. When he was slaughtering dwarves and 
making the push to his own pinnacle. This moment came from his company. 
The Chancellor and Advisor of Eternal Night.

Bruzglot's Edge

So, Bruzglot was traveling with the Scions and Nyzoth was preaching about 
Zurcon.

At first this didn't matter to Bruzglot. But you keep mentioning 
destruction and talk badly about elves long enough and an orc starts to 
listen. Nyzoth explained how elves had imprisoned Lord Zurcon. How Lord 
Zurcon relished those who were beasts of destruction. How Lord Zurcon 
would burn all the hated elves to the ground starting with Darsylon.

Bruzglot already felt an affinity for the Scions because of his interest 
in blood magic. He didn't have many allies outside of them. Some people, 
like Alcevia, were useful. He dealt with them. Goods and services. But 
the Scions he felt were similar to the orcs. Them against the world.

Bruzglot doesn't feel empathy- hardly ever. But he likes the Scions as 
much as he likes anyone. As such, he leaves the pit alone. And enjoys 
destroying their many mutual foes. He enjoys taking the Head and hurting 
the villagers in particular as well, because of his self-belief in his 
blood magic and how they would take away one thing that sets Bruzglot 
apart from other orcs.

As he got more established as a Warlord he began to realize he'd need 
another edge besides simply being a Mundunugu orc to set himself apart 
and give him the edge he sought to become and hold the position of 
Chieftain. He wants to rule the Clan. And he wants the Clan to be strong 
under his guidance. But to do so he needs an edge. And with Zurcon, he 
believes he has found an edge. The Demon God hates elves and asks his 
followers to Destroy. These are two chief things Bruzglot can get behind. 
Treasures, riches and power are far easier to obtain from ruined wreckage 
than from high walls and locked chests, after all.

And furthermore, Bruzglot believes that Zurcon will reward him if he 
helps in the destruction of Thera. Bruzglot believes that he needs to 
learn more than what Tremblefist is willing to teach him. Bruzglot 
worries that Tremblefist keeps some rituals to himself- orcs are not 
known for altruism. By following Zurcon, Bruzglot thinks he will discover 
new rites and demonic magic to go with the rituals Tremblefist has taught 
him. To this end, Bruzglot will ascend to becoming Chieftain and hold the 
position, as is his (self-believed) right.
